Cucina Ilocana — Restaurant in Davao City

I missed eating lutong-bahay so I asked my mom to take me somewhere that serves good food near our location so she took me to Cucina Ilocana. I thought they won’t be taking in more customers because we arrived 30 minutes before their closing time. We didn’t need to ask for water because they served us even when we didn’t ask for it. The Sinigang na Bangus tastes great—the service too is great. I didn’t expect a good amount of serving for the price. Came home with a happy tummy.

New Edit 08/09/23: Visited for the second time because I was craving for some lutong bahay. We ordered their Pork Sinigang and Bagnet.

dined in during lunch time and got a few dishes + empanada. there were only 2 groups in the restaurant but it still took a while for the food to get served but the food was good though. the fried chicken was my fave out of everything we have ordered. service wise it was so-so. one crew didnt know that they do accept credit card so i had to show them the fb post showing that they are advertising cash and cashless transactions. the other crew fortunately, did know about this and was informed that cc payments would be made through qr code scanning since they do not have a terminal yet. this can be a point of improvement for crew...

The visit here was a long time coming. I expected more as a first-timer. The menu had quite the selection (or so I thought). Appalled with the unavailable items outnumbering the available ones. The effort from the start with their menu should also be done in simplifying it down to the dishes that they are still serving….The only branch left standing. I heard their Abreeza kiosk closed recently. Can’t really appreciate what’s left (of the choices) as I can also get ‘em elsewhere. ….I hate to say it out loud but your guess is as good as...
