Sunahama Noodle Bar — Restaurant in Davao City

Must try Japanese resto when in Davao. In the heart of the city. The place gets so full being pretty small so be sure to go early so you will not wait long. Ramen was good - rich, tasty and flavorful. Not a ramen lover but liked it. We ordered the Pork Tonkotsu Ramen. Chicken Katsudon was perfectly golden, tender and delicious, too. What capped our lunch was the dessert they call "mille crepe." It's a 20-thin layered crepe with so-light pastry creme and not too sweet. It was heavenly, to say the least. Two thumbs up! Indeed, one of their most requested desserts so don't be surprised if it gets sold out easily. Meals can be shared, but if you're a heavy Japanese food lover- you might opt to have the whole dish/meal all to yourself! Other dishes...

Great food, must try are the roast beef ramen, roast beef salad, tantanmen. Love this place until now ever since they opened. The food quality has remained consistent

Only downside is that the place has obviously aged. When we went there recently the smell of the place wasn't too good, but not bad enough to stop anyone from eating there. Might be a good thing to think about freshening up the place and keeping it up to date.

Craving my favorite chicken katsu, pork gyoza & tiramisu ( tantanmen also a must try) alone!🤣🤣😂😍😍😍. They have managed to maintain their same quality & deliciousness throughout the years.
