Gerry's SM Lanang (Gerry's Grill) — Restaurant in Davao City

This restaurant has a bar but you can’t order liquor just beer because the bar and the liquor you see is only for display. They should take it down because it is misleading.

We came in at 11am and ordered several dishes, and my husband would like a side of 2 eggs over medium, but they can’t do it. The server says they have no way to charge it on the ticket. However, if we order Sisig for instance, a dish that has a fried egg on it, the server said, we can add 2 more fried eggs. So I asked, how do you account for the two extra eggs then? The server said it’s just the way it is.

Bulalo Steak: the gravy is flavorful but the beef is tough and chewy. It hurt my mouth after. I’ve had bulalo steak at the MOA location and that one melts in your mouth.

Crispy Bicol Express was good. My husband enjoyed it very much.

Lumpia was ok. I’ve had better. It looks done on the outside, but the inside needs to be cooked a little more.

Garlic Mushroom Chicken could have been good but the chicken was dry, it’s like a left over chicken that was cooked again.

Lechon Kawali was good says my mom. I didn’t have any but she says it’s good.

Inihaw na bangus was not at all as I expected. It was malangsa tasting. We didn’t even finish it.

We also ordered mango shakes which were good.

We will not come back to this branch anymore and I do not recommend this place. There are other restaurants that serve the same food that are way...
