First time eating here, I was a bit surprised with their ramen. I ordered their miso ramen and when it tried it, it had a lot of lettuce which was peculiar. I haven’t had miso ramen with that much lettuce. It felt like I was eating a sort of kimchi soup with noodles, but regardless, it still tasted good. As for their raw fish selection, it was pretty fresh, ngl. Although, when we ordered their aji, I didn’t know what it looked like until it arrived. It was pretty daunting to eat, but if you just focus on the flavor of the meat, it’s pretty good. We did have a bad experience in terms of their service though. They only had one serve take, serve, and bill you and because of that, we probably spent close to 30mins just waiting for our bill.

Went there the other day. I’m so happy I found an authentic Japanese restaurant in Davao! I miss the real Japanese food I tried in Japan 🥹 I ordered oyakudon and soba, and the oyakudon was delicious!!! 😋 I struggled a bit in using chopsticks with our Philippine rice (since Japan has a more glutinous variety) but I still enjoyed it! I wish I could say the same for the soba. I really liked the noodles, but the soy broth/soup was a bit bland for me. I think it just lacked a bit of seasoning ☺️ I also didn’t know what to do with the raw itlog pugo as I never tried eating soba with a raw egg so I just left it 😅 But overall, I enjoyed my meal!!! Can’t wait to go back to try the other dishes ☺️ Kudos to Chef Ryuji! 💗

went here because i saw a facebook ad about their food. saw that they have these rice menu selections that is not normally on most japanese restaurants. went there during lunch and was greeted politely by the staff. the japanese chef would make your order in their open kitchen, so you'd be able to see how your food is being prepared. the food serving is huge and the price is reasonable + they also serve a side dish free on the house. plus points because they accept card payments 😸 an underrated japanese restaurant must i say!
