Domus Resto is as the name suggests, a small home turned resto right at the entrance to Amigo Subdivision. And like its namesake, it serves quality dishes that taste just like home.
Ambiance: Homely. The place is simple, with limited seating inside, and some seating outside. It is cozy and not overbearing. No a/c but it does not feel stifling.
Food: Food is good. We had the seared paties with mashed potatoes (for sharing size - ₱340), and the chili garlic pechay (₱110). Both were excellent choices and really hit the spot. Just fair warning that the chili garlic pechay has quite a bit of chili oil so ordering rice to eat it with would be ideal. I wanted to order the Domus Sinilihan but sadly it has bagoong, which I’m allergic to.
Service: Servers were great, and really friendly! It’s very easy to ask for recommendations, and hard not to smile when they set the table or serve the dishes.
Pricing: Pricing is fair and matches the dish and quality of the ingredients. While you’re definitely not paying for restaurant-style ambiance, Domus is in that perfect place between not too cheap and not too expensive.
Parking: Luckily, we took their 1 car parking spot when we arrived. You can park on the road but it’s already quite narrow considering cars drive in and out of the area. There’s enough space for a few motorcycles as well. Ideally walkable, or get a pedicab to drop you off here.
Would I come back? Yes. There’s a few more dishes that caught my eye that I would...
Read moreI hosted my cousin’s surprise bachelorette dinner at Domus, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The reservation process was smooth, and the staff graciously allowed us to bring outside drinks and pizzas. They also let me do the table setting, which turned out so beautifully!! We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was excellent. The Domus Pork Sinilihan, pesto pasta, and ugly chicken parm were the absolute favorites of the night. The employees were incredibly accommodating and receptive to our requests. This is my new favorite restaurant in Duma, and I will definitely be back...
Read moreThe food is delicious, especially the pork hinalangan(?). And the palabok(?) absolutely the best palabok we tasted ever. However, the place is quite small, so it can be a bit difficult to dine in if you’re a walk in customer. We attempted 4 times to dine in. It is best to make a reservation in advance. The server was very attentive and took initiative to cater to...
