Don Roberto's Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Dumaguete

Don Roberto's is probably one of my most beloved restaurants from childhood growing up in Dumaguete. The food is incredible and at big serving portions too, so its a very family-oriented restaurant.

That being said, the waiting time for food is always long. Always. That has never changed since I was a kid, and thats fine if you know what youre getting into. Just expect to be served your first dish after 30 minutes of waiting.

Oftentimes the place gets disorderly because there will be unbussed tables sitting their for 10 minutes or like the smaller tables and chairs will be scattered around by patrons that just up and leave. I guess these are all manpower problems. But still I love this place, I just need to be in the right mood with a lot of patience when I come...

We just ate here today, we sat down, ordered our food, and waited. Tbh with a lot of people at night, we wouldn't expect our order to be 30 mins to 1 hour, it was really outrageous how it took this long, but I understand that these staffs are working hard to serve it's customers, but I guess they could've just built a bigger kitchen, and have a little more staffs. Overall it's predecessor is actually very good, the carbonara, tasted well, shanghai rice, also a good dish, and along with the rest, Although they did apologize for the wait, we understand. Changing my rating. Staffs were able to take ownership of the mistake

Service today was not like before. We celebrated birthdays, graduations, and special events here. People who came in after us were served with food first. Waste of time dining here today. 60 minutes and your food was still not served, no expectation was set for the wait time and you see people who came in after you being served first with the same food that you ordered. When we politely asked for our order, we were just asked "what's your order?"
