I love their Chicken Inato, it's one of my favorite restaurants who prepare this dish. We had pancit, stuffed squid, lumpiang shanghai and rice. Just Filipino favorites that everyone love. My mouth is watering while writing this because nothing beats a home-style cooking enjoyed with the family. I love the ambiance of this place beside the sea. They have other branches all over Dumaguete so you won't be able to miss to visit and eat at their restaurant whenever you're in Dumaguete. My family and I specifically enjoy the one in Sibulan beside the sea. It's an open air dining, with the fresh breeze of the sea, more spacious and more parking spots. It's a bit far from the city but it's always worth it to visit here for Lunch or Dinner. Pay them a visit the next time you are in Negros Oriental.

There are several locations in and around Dumaguete available for this restaurant. This particular one is the location we have dined at the most. It's been consistently good and the meal options are reasonably priced. There is a fair amount of parking available in front of the businesses across the street. One thing that makes the dining experience different is this is a traditional sit down restaurant with table service but you order your food and pay at a kiosk near the entrance. Not that unusual when eating fast food but this isn't that type of restaurant. I still recommend giving Jo's a try especially if you are in the mood for delicious grilled chicken.

I went here for the chicken inafo. Very disappointing.. the grilled chicken is so dry, hard and chewy it tastes bland like they didn’t marinate the the chicken, condiments isn’t exceptional as well. They serve 2 cults of rice but I don’t eat much rice so I had to return one cup as it’s not good to waste food. Also oredered adobong kangkong- also bland. Store ambience needs improvement in terms of lighting ventilation and cleanliness.. service is so-so what I don’t like was they were mopping the floor using commercial chlorine while we were eating! So the pungent scent of chlorine mixes with what we were eating.

Another must-try restaurant in Dumaguete! Their chicken inasal is really good. Although they only had the thigh part available when we visited (pecho not available). The kinilaw tasted like home. The pochero, however, was a bit off for me. We didn’t get to try the halo-halo as we were already too full. Overall, the experience was good. I would say the only thing they could improve on is the area on the first floor—it’s quite dimly lit and uncomfortably warm.

Food - had very decent selections to choose from. Inato is very different from Inasal (Bacolod) so the flavour profiles should not even be compared. Was happy with what we ordered. Service - service was quick and efficient. No complaints. Atmosphere - We went to the branch near Siliman University. The place was a bit dated, will benefit from a remodeling work. Personally felt that I wanted to leave immediately after eating as it felt uninviting..
