It's definitely a mixed bag when you come here, especially since this place is a collection of different merchants and good stalls. There's takoyaki, milk tea, wings, seafood, crepes, and alcohol being served in different establishments, so you have a a bunch of choices. The quality of the food will vary, though I will say I haven't ever been sorely disappointed. The worst Ive had was only mediocre. But there are some excellent places as well. As for service, a lot of the stalls have some extroverted staff to entice you to try their food, of course because of the competition all around. Wait times will depend as well on the number of people around and it can get really crowded especially on weekend evenings, so youll need to follow up on your order if its taking a while. Because its an open area, rain can be miserable if youre sitting outside. The aesthetic of the area is welcoming, but again, it can get VERY crowded so you need to be lucky and patient when finding a...

This is actually a really great venue. Good drinks, and live music. Food is hot or miss depending on where you eat. Unfortunately, the music is painfully loud. I like loud music but his is ridiculous. The male vocalist is very proud and drowns out anything that sounds like music.

I don’t recommend the tacos here. 😩. I couldn’t find the name of this stall inside Northpoint. Soggy soft shell. I’m not sure what the shell was made of but it was thin and soggy. Tortillas were a bright yellow color and taste like foam. I probably should not have eaten it but I was so hungry after a long day. Big disappointment. I ordered a side of rice for 25 pesos which I threw away. The rice was old and hard. I believe business is so bad here they are using old...

It's my first time visiting Dumaguete. I initially planned to just sleep on the first night, but of course, I didn't want to waste any time (and my companion got hungry). Northpoint is their area for drinking and dining. There are a lot of people along the bay. Here at Northpoint, I was looking for oysters, but surprisingly, they don't have any. Hayahay/Lab-as restaurant lists oysters on their menu, but they currently don’t have any available They were the ones who recommended I go to Northpoint. :) But still, no oysters.

There are many options here at Northpoint for food, drinks, and ambiance. There are noisy spots, quiet ones, warm areas, and cool ones because of the air conditioning. We chose to dine at "Wokbae" and...

We are a big group and we initially we plan to dine outdoor because of the live band, we are approached by Tambayan staff and they arrange 3 tables for us. One of the staff offered us to dine indoor as there's aircon and it can accommodate our group. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and always have a big smile for us, she has embodied the true customer service she has a very warm personality which seldom to find nowadays in the restaurant. The food is tasty and the ambiance of the place is cozy and clean. Will definitely come back again to Tambayan and will definitely recommend the place. Kudos to the management this established is well supervised and staff are customer service oriented.
