Pasta King Cafe di Roma — Restaurant in Dumaguete

Went to this restaurant on a Friday evening and I was plesently surprised to see that it was not busy. I ordered pasta and vegetables, and unfortunately both were way too salty for me to enjoy. Please allow the customer to add extra salt if they want it! I was also disappointed that my pasta did not come with the usual garlic bread. I expected more considering the price of my meal. My dinner companion with me ordered pork adobo, and it was also not up to par, and was another disappointment. The meat was very sinuey and tough. She could not finish it... As a side note, the waitress that we had was not very attentive to our needs, and did not check on our table much. There was only one other couple dining at the restaurant at the time that we were there. I went to this restaurant with high hopes, expecting to have an enjoyable Friday evening dinner, but this did not happen... Will not be returning to this establishment in...

We went there after reading some reviews on tripadvisor raving about the quality, and oh god, what a disappointment this place was. There is nothing Italian at this place. the pasta we had is local supermarket quality The staff would not be capable to walk your dog in a straight line.

Serious, most of this reviews on tripadvisor look like total fake.

All together it is a foreigner owned local fast-food joint with some different dishes. Pasta King should stop trying to get customers with lies and fakes and advertise at what it is: Another local fast food joint.

I would give 0 Stars for what it is advertised.

For the obvious local ingredients, the place is expensive if you are not into unlimited rice.

1 star for cleanliness, 1 star for dishes equals 2... minus 1 star for lying and faking.

We simply wanted a good meal after 6 days BBQ-chicken and adobo on a field trip and got so much...

The first time I ordered Gnocchi in tomato sauce and it was fresh and good. The service was good, they were polite and nice. It is a clean place, but "aged" and not renewed. Breakfast it was not as I expected, the omelette was too oily and the espresso was not well done, the quality of coffee (beans or ground) it had a bitter taste. I lived in Italy and I order espresso in many countries when I travel, but unfortunately here was not well done. I thought in an Italian restaurant could be possible to find a real espresso. The second evening, we went back there for dinner, it was disappointing, I ordered a vegetarian pizza, but the taste was terrible and the tomatoes sauce and the mushrooms had a bad taste. The mushrooms were not fresh they seemed to me taken from the can with expired date. So I decided not to go back to...
