Decent little spot but don't go if you don't have patience

The croissants are pretty good, but the chocolate croissant literally had the slightest hint of chocolate inside, as per the picture I posted

The tuna and salmon on a croissant tasted AMAZING. But again, it barely had any filling. There was no more than 2 Oz of meat in that sandwich, and that's me being very generous cuz it was definitely half that

Everything else in the food department was good. Bagel isn't really a bagel but good nonetheless

The service had me very annoyed

I asked for a bacon egg and cheese bagel, they brought out a plate with bacon egg and cheese with toast. I decided to keep it and eat it and asked the waitress to, again, bring me a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. She then brought me a bagel with egg and cheese but no bacon.

Then the chicken pesto panini that was ordered never came out

All in all really tasty food, but lacking in the serving size on some things and the service needs to...

I had intended to visit H-Mart Korean market next door but it was closed (Sunday) so I stopped by this little cafe.

They have a full beverage and food menu. I opted for a mango smoothie and a loaf of pesto bread 130 Pesos

Mango smoothie usually comes with sugar and milk. I asked for NO sugar or milk, and gave the woman some coconut "meat" to add instead. Just mango and coconut milk, please 🥭🥥🧊

She added sugar syrup and I had to ask her to wash it out, which she did after much protesting. 😢 Not enough water was added so my smoothie was more like pudding; I ate it with a spoon.

The 'pesto' bread was also disappointing, so little pesto! And nothing to eat with it, i.e. olive oil and vinegar, just dry bread.

Thankfully, I had brought more "coconut meat" and this is what I ate with the bread to make it palatable.

The cafe is cute and clean, and close to the port and Silliman University.

I have a feeling the other food options on the menu are...

No idea how this place has high ratings, our experience was so bad. First of all the service wasn’t welcoming at all, we felt like a nuisance being there. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the large chicken panini for 185 pesos, and my partner ordered the tuna sandwich, and both were honestly rubbish. There was barely any filling, more lettuce than anything. The chicken panini didn’t taste of anything, unbelievably bland, no flavour and incredibly dry. My cappuccino was extremely weak, it didn’t taste of anything. For hours afterwards I had terrible indigestion, which was undoubtedly caused by this food as I hadn’t eaten anything else all day. All in all, a really bad experience and terrible food compared to other places...

Marni Fetalvero,Marni Fetalvero,
Rollin' Pin was a surprise discovery. We took a ferry trip to Dumaguete on the way to Silay and looked for a breakfast place. On my search on the internet, this was a recommendation I was curious about. I was not disappointed at all. They make their own bread and they are fantastic. It was a good thing we were early because if we had gone a little later, all the best choices would have been gone. Apparently this is a popular place for the foreigners of Dumaguete where they get their daily dose of bread from.
