Edit for 2nd visit review: we already dined here and really loved it so came back a second time. We had the mango curry and sweet and sour chicken which we both really enjoyed! We were however a little disappointed this 2nd time around because I went to pay the bill, which is cash only, and as I passed it back and stood there waiting for our change, the girl gave to another girl to process who picked up the phone straight away and the first girl walked away to serve another customer. I stood at the counter for a few mins waiting for the change and everyone was busy so I sat down at our table patiently waiting and looking for their acknowledgement and to bring the change over to us which they never did. It wasn’t a lot (90p) however just the fact they assumed it must have been a tip even though I waited after I handed it to her?? We left as our child was very uncomfortable and irritable and wasn’t worth our hassle, just disappointing.
First visit review: A friend recommended this place to us and we really enjoyed it. A lot of vegan options here which we haven’t seen much of (neither of us are vegan) but still some other options. We got the pastas, my husband loved the seafood pasta and said it was perfect. I added chicken to my pesto pasta and it had a really tasty and rich flavour. We also got the handmade fries and they were sooo good! The juices were really good too!! They don’t have any high chairs for babies though (most places we have been don’t have them) so is often a little more challenging to for all of us to eat and enjoy with a toddler but other than this, it was a...
Read moreHow to lose customers over raw fries and poor customer service?
Let me clarify that I've been a regular customer for months in both, the Tourism Road and newly opened Boulevard, venues.
We ordered a Fish&Chips as a starter to share and two main courses.
The starter - while the fish was ok, the fries looked old and we're basically raw inside (first time ever it happens to me), so we simply asked to replace them and only 2 minutes later we received a new portion, this time they were barely warm (!) and again raw. We didn't feel like sending them back again and we just left them all there.
In the meantime they served us the main dishes, and my gf received hers with a portion of fries, again raw.
As we were very tired and my gf wasn't having a great night also for other reasons, therefore a bit nervous, in the end she didn't feel like eating all her dish and left half of her wrap too.
Since the night for us was a bit off in all ways I asked to pay and requested to take away the half wrap but not all the fries served with the starter and main course (quite a lot), inviting the staff (notably the manager) to look into it because they were clearly raw and that never happened in any of my last visits.
The very snobby "thank you" I received, showed really no interest in what I reported and left me extremely disappointed.
"Cherry on top" they charged us 35php for the take away package
Hope nobody else got served those uncooked fries and wish Nattribu to improve their customer service and manners because surely they failed us big...
Read moreHad dinner here tonight.
The Good: Their caesar salad is great and coconut ice cream is delicious.
The Bad:
Staff seemed distracted and kept getting things wrong.
The watermelon juice tasted like the watermelon has been kept in storage for quite some time that it has gone sour, so we returned it. We asked for pineapple instead and then they said the pineapple they had in stock is not yet ripe.
The meat in the pork sinigang tasted like old stock. The soup was alright tho.
We ordered fish curry and we were waiting for it and then we were told it wasn't listed down when it's actually the second thing we ordered and we even asked twice if it comes with rice and the waitress said yes. So we just decided to not have it anymore.
We ordered coconut ice cream, and when it was served by the guy waiter, it came on top of a brownie (not a fan of brownies), and I thought that's how it's really served. When the bill was given by the girl waitress, I saw that what's listed was different from the plain coconut ice cream, so I asked her if it's the same as the ice cream and she said no. I said, "Didn't I order just the plain ice cream with you?" And she said "Yes, but I thought you changed your order."
They did deduct it from the bill even without us asking them to--and we wouldn't have, since we already touched it--so that's a plus on their side, but it's not a place I'd recommend if you want to have a good...
