I'm an All Day Breakfast kinda foodie by default☺️ and if you're the same like minded individual who loves a good brekky ~ breakfast.
Definitely recommends ~ Takam Cafe & Bistro!
I have tried most of their cafe menu and can briefly describe it, as one of those wonderful hidden quaint cafe spot along the bustling General Luna on the Island of Siargao Philippines during my stay.
They also serve one of the best coffee on the isla and did I mention their food which by the way is being personally prepared by Chef Smith.
Not only that their place has a laidback vibe, they have the warmest staff, shout out to Jason
Thanks Chef Wi and Takam Cafe & Bistro crew for making my stay in Siargao worth while!

We started with iced coffee, caramel latte - bubuyug blend for me, chocnut lapulapu blend for my wife. Jason, our wait staff prepared both really well. Tip: you stir the coffee gently a few times, don't mix it fully, sip thru the straw, start at the bottom and slowly raise it to the middle to experience the full range of flavor. Rinse, repeat. For the food, Id strongly recommend the Crispy Thrice-cooked Pork Adobo. The experience is truly unique. Make sure to mention the doneness of the egg if you dont want it runny. Take a piece of the meat, some egg, some kimchi, and some rice then experience a burst of salt, sour, and umami as you take every spoonful of this well prepared dish. We also ordered the Salty & Sweet Bacon-Mango Grilled Cheese sandwhich. Flavor profile is in the name. :) We finished with the Ube-Stuffed French Toast which was sweet as expected. The texture felt like cake. If you dont have a sweet tooth you might not finish the dish like we did. :) All in all, highly recommend if...

Takam Café & Bistro quickly became my favorite spot in Siargao, and honestly, it deserves to be the most popular café on the island. A friend recommended it to me, and I’m so glad I listened—I ended up eating there three times during my stay!
First off, their coffee is absolutely amazing. Not only does it taste incredible, but the latte art is so pretty—it’s rare to get both aesthetics and flavor in one cup. That said, I wish they offered a bigger cup option because I always end up wanting more! The desserts? Equally as impressive. Every bite feels like a little piece of heaven.
The food is great too! While I loved everything I tried, I do hope they expand their tapsi menu in the future. But honestly, I was so satisfied with their coffee and desserts that I didn’t even mind.
Takam Café is definitely one of those places I’ll be dreaming of when I leave Siargao. When I return, this will be one of my first stops! I highly recommend it—don’t miss this gem if you’re...
