Read moreWe came here on a Friday night and it was quiet at first but got very busy with some big family and friend groups coming later on. It has a great atmosphere in the outdoor seated areas (which are under cover) with live music playing the night we went. The food is traditional Filipino fare but feels a little over priced. We had the pork/chicken adobo, sizzling bulalo and crispy pork pasta along with bagoong rice and lumpiang shanghai spring rolls. I've never had the bagoong rice before so it was a real highlight and I really recommend it. The serving is easily enough to share between 4 adults. The lumpiang shanghai spring rolls are a must and again a generous serving and the adobo was excellent. The crispy para came out very late for us by which point we already had a few beers and werent so hungry anymore but it was good. I wasn't so much of a fan of the sizzling bulalo. Service was good but once it got busy I think the staff became overwhelmed so be prepared for a long night. Just relax, enjoy the music and have some cocktails while you wait. I would come back with family and friends, it was...
Read moreTradicion is one of the more underrated Filipino restaurants in General Luna Siargao. I don’t know why we didn’t try this restaurant sooner! It is located on the main road and is probably busy at night but we went during the day for lunch with our daughter. The food was amazing! We always look for Filipino food that is not street fooddbut also not too expensive. Everything on the menu hit the spot and I really am excited to go back and try more on the menu. The atmosphere is very nice. We liked being surrounded by plants and we also got to play ping-pong near the resort behind which is Vivo Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it felt like eating in a family members house. Definitely a must try if you were looking for well cooked delicious and affordable but classy Filipino food! We will...
