Nikko’s Brew Gensan — Restaurant in General Santos

Place is cozy and nice but its too crowded most of the time especially during dinner time. [They should add more branch tbh or expand place is too small to accommodate all the customers wanting to dine in]. I cant say for all the food but mine was good, 🦞Seafood Chowder- 4.5/5 The seafood chowder taste good and I'm not a fan of seafood. Thick and creamy soup with a lot of veggies and shrimp chunks in it. The only thing I don't like is there's too much veggies (i dont like eating them) but if you're ok with it you guys are gonna love it. Dipping garlic bread in it is so good. 🍝Lasagna- 3/5 Lasagna is only at "OK" for me only, and only bcus the sauce is leaning more into the og italian lasagna flavor rather than filipino one and Im not quite fond of that type sauce, 🍞The garlic butter bread is 5/5 😂 Iced chocolate is there but not yet, 3.5/5 but would recommend although J.co's/fresco's still the best for me so far here in gensan 👩‍💼Service as I've experienced so far is 5/5, I don't have any complaints, they were all nice, food arrived fast despite the place being full, accommodating staff 👍 Anyways serving portions is big so you get your money's worth at least, would still come back to try their other...

I have a hit or miss experience with this cafe and I hope they review their process a bit and improve.

Here's my thoughts.

Food - it's good, the drinks are also good. Their matcha isn't the best but it's okay. The menu seems to always have a lot on them that aren't available.

Place - it's nicely designed. Always full of people too which is good to see.

Staff - always helpful and accommodating especially the servers. Love that they bring out water to drink.

Store hours - I love that they are open until late hours of the day. However, they recently started opening early in the morning but doesn't serve anything other than drinks. Which is crazy. Not sandwiches or anything was being serviced at 9:30am. If you decide to open during the morning, at least make sure you have a menu prepared to accommodate...

Don't get the wraps here. Kind of missing the point for what a wrap does... it WRAPS the food together. When you cut it, it just falls out. Description of chicken was GRILLED in a pita. It was actually FRIED dark meat nuggets in a tortilla, as my diet is no fried food plus tortillas are way more calories than pitas.

Everything fell apart, really messy. Loosely "wrapped" to make it appear larger, portion of food inside was very small especiallyfor the price. I rewrapped it myself and the thickness was about the size of my thumb.

The only flavor was the flavor of lettuce. What was supposed to be a healthier option than most food in the area turned redundant as a chicken wrap implies freshness with lean chicken breast. Should fix this or remove it from the menu.
