Gerry's SM Iloilo (Gerry's Grill) — Restaurant in Iloilo City

If i can rate the service in this branch i will give them 10 more stars.

Here's our experience. It was July 13 Thursday night when we went to Gerry's Grill SM Iloilo and after few beers and kinilaw na tuna we left just in time before closing.

As we are walking several meters from the store, the waiter hurriedly ran after us to give my officemate the cellphone he left at the table or chair. We thanked him for the deed but so unfortunate that we never took the chance to ask for his name as he hurriedly walked back, no fuss just like its just his norm.

We had beef steak, fried chicken and palabok. It’s tasty and the serving is decently portioned. For dessert we had halo-halo which was the highlight of the meal.

The restaurant could improve on their serving time because 20-30 mins waiting time is bit long especially because we have seniors with us. Also the food did not come at the same time; the palabok arrived first, and after 10-15 mins it was followed by the beef steak. The rice and fried chicken came at a much later time.

I ordered food and was told that they did not have any squid because of a supply chain problem. I ordered a Coke Zero and was told they had no soda because if a delivery issue. I was going outside to buy a soda and they said I will need to pay 100 pesos to bring the soda in. I called the manager and he was rude and did nothing to keep us there. We canceled the 1,500 peso order and went to another restaurant just close by in the mall and they had everything. Horrible place and very poor management. Don’t waste your time going there.
