Bucket Ba? — Restaurant in La Union

We initially sat on 1 table for 4 but the staff mentioned it was reserved; onto the next and she mentioned the same so we were instructed to sit on another table. I suggest that they put a "reserved" sign on tables. The lights above us have dangling spiders and cob webs! The live band is good however the volume is extremely loud which I believe is the reason for the next lines... We ordered 3 beef pares WITH bone marrow and the staff even asked us repetitively to confirm. "With or without?" Me and my friend responded with our correct order and repeated them, we even mentioned the price to clarify since there's a big difference between with and without bone marrow. Serving time was too long. When our food arrived, there was no bone marrow. It seems like the server was unsure so we repeated that we ordered 'with bone marrow'. He mentioned "to follow nalang po". You shouldn't serve incomplete set orders. Minutes passed and we kept following-up the bone marrow until we decided to just cancel it since we're almost done eating. Food was very salty by the way! The staff who took our order said "hindi po pwede, icha-charge po sakin"—i believe it's not our fault that the service does not adhere well to the standards. "Minamicrowave palang po para mas lumambot", but it already took so much time, and they still rushed to serve ONE bone marrow, which isn't even soft and hot to begin with! Checking our order at the counter, even the staff seem to be unsure. They basically took our order wrong and made us feel like it was our fault.

Our party of six had dinner here on a Friday night pretty early that were barely any patrons. Despite the lack of costumers, the server still took too long to take our order (understandable as I believe there’s only one working the entire joint at the time). Similarly, our food took a while to come out and we only ordered 1 appetizer (which was served last for some reason) 3 entrées, and plain rice. We were incredibly disappointed at the small portions of food they considered “for sharing” we even asked if we ordered correctly which they confirmed. For their prices, we definitely were expecting way more. The food wasn’t bad by any means but not anything special. The place itself seems unkempt and did not provide the warm and fun atmosphere we were expecting. Overall a bad experience, I hope the management takes note of all these...

The grilling station does not have range hood hence the entire place is filled with smoke. The value of food is not parred with the quality of the food itself; ex: Php 300 with a literally minuscule serving of chicharong bulaklak and liempo, paired with beef pares that tastes like socks. Live band’s sounds were too loud. Too many unavailable food on the menu; Sinigang na hipon is unavailable but buttered shrimp is available like???? A literal blue or cucumber lemonade will take 15-30mins to serve.

Service is okay I would rate it as 5 ⭐️ but since there’s a self service station, I took a star away.
