Location: situated on a hill, but still accessible via vehicle or tricycle; or you can just walk for a few minutes to the main road. Not directly accessible to the beach but compensated with a great view of the sea shore. Place is also more quite than in the beachfront area. Would appreciate if the hotel have a contact with the trikes for fetching if you don't have your own vehicles. Parking is available on-site, may accomodate up to 10 vehicles at max. (4/5)
Exterior/Interior: Features a Japandi or Coastal-minimalist design in & out. Not that easily identifiable from afar, but distinguishable by its white exteriors. Interiors are simple yet aesthetic, the airflow inside the hallways and public spaces are superb which makes it ideal to sit and relax. Ambiance is a plus due to taking advantage of daylighting and ventilation. Fire exit is kind of disturbing when accessing, but not a big issue. (4/5)
Accomodation: Some rooms offer a toilet and bath, others are rooms only with common toilets and baths, a few options for your needed packages. Rooms include, charging sockets, cabinets for your valuables (however no locks), bath towel, and your own bed (deck or personal). You need to bring your own toiletries. Other spaces such as the roof top is their most featured, relaxing view of the shore with a lot of sitting areas. In addition, there is a karaoke speaker you can use and pair with your own devices as a screen. They don't offer food but you can make use of their shared kitchen with your own electric stoves. (4/5)
Staff: Very welcoming and accomodating. Best if booked online so they can prepare your stay ahead of time. Makes the facilities or amenities cleaned thoroughly for the other guests to enjoy. Best if there is always a person on the front desk. Since there are no intercom to the lobby. (4.5/5)
Price: Not all may afford their rates but there are few rooms priced for joiners. (4.5/5)
Overall: It was a good stay, there are still a few things to improve but would still come back for another...
Read moreSora Elyu is a top-tier accommodation, especially for tourists. When it comes to accessibility, the hostel is in a great location—particularly for food lovers. Sora Elyu is very close to the famous eatery Miryinda—just walking distance! If you’re looking for an easy-access, hassle-free place to stay, Sora Elyu is one of the best options. It’s also very affordable.
The customer service at Sora Elyu is excellent. There are no words to fully describe how accommodating the staff are. They’re very hands-on. If you ever encounter a problem, just let them know and they’ll gladly help you out.
We stayed in the Standard Room (Sea View) for our first 3 days and 2 nights. The room is small—ideal for couples. The only issue we had was with the lighting. When we returned late at night around 2 a.m., the light was flickering. We had to adjust the bulb’s prop for it to stay on, which was a bit of a hassle, especially when you’re intoxicated. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of outlets for charging gadgets.
We unexpectedly extended our stay, but the sea view room was already booked, so we moved to a Standard Room (non-sea view). This room was also comfortable. The bed was a little squeaky—not a big issue—but it only had one outlet, which was a bit inconvenient. However, the room was slightly dim, which made it cozy. My partner and I slept comfortably in both rooms.
The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff consistently clean the area, especially when there’s sand. Although the rooms don’t have private bathrooms, the common CR is not a problem at all because it’s always clean.
The amenities at this hostel are very nice and fun, especially the rooftop. They have karaoke and a huge speaker—perfect for barkada hangouts. The entire place is so aesthetic. Definitely highly...
Read moreMy partner and I celebrated our anniversary at this place and we had an amazing time! The staff are all wonderful, very polite, accommodating, and dedicated to the extreme. They take their work seriously and will do what they can to deliver a pleasant experience in their hostel. Something that I really enjoyed. The location is very convenient. It’s a few minutes from the beach so whenever we need something, we can just easily go grab it. The cleanliness throughout the hostel was impressive. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the amenities were top-notch. I’m also impressed they accept pets for additional fee, next time we can bring our cat here. We loved the spectacular views from the roof deck. It’s a good and quiet place to relax. People are very friendly. The hostel staff Darla were exceptionally attentive, promptly meeting all our needs with a smile. I’m very satisfied with our visit.
Overall, our stay was truly an unforgettable experience, a definitely recommend and we can't wait to go back!
P.S. If you don’t have a car, you’ll need to take a tricycle to get there since it’s located on a hilltop but you can...
