I’ve been searching for artisanal bread in Lapu-Lapu, and I finally discovered Bread Funatics—definitely worth the visit!

They specialize in crafting breads and pizzas made with their own sourdough culture, which gives everything that unique, tangy flavor. So far, I’ve tried their salted croissant, garlic cream cheese bun, all-meat pizza, and Hawaiian pizza—all of them delicious, with that distinct sourdough taste that sets them apart.

They also make their own kombucha and yogurt drinks. I had the mango yogurt, and it was refreshing and really well-balanced.

Another plus: they start selling bread as early as 7:00 AM, so you can drop by and grab fresh items right out of the oven.

Prices are on the higher side, but for the quality, craftsmanship, and flavor—you’re definitely getting what you pay for. A great spot for anyone who appreciates real, thoughtfully made...

Simply the Best Pizza in Cebu!

I had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the sourdough pizza. The dough was perfectly crafted – light, airy, and with just the right tang – and paired with thoughtfully chosen, high-quality toppings that truly elevated the dish. Every bite felt like a celebration of flavor!

To top it off, I also indulged in a croissant with my coffee, and wow – absolutely divine. Flaky, buttery, and simply irresistible, it was the perfect complement to a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, made even better by the friendly and welcoming owner and staff. You can tell they put their heart into this place, and it shows in every detail.

This is an absolute must-visit for anyone in Cebu/Mactan. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Trust me, even the most discerning Italian would feel right at home...

Went to Bread Funatics in Red Coco Town earlier this afternoon and had a delightful experience. Got their Plant-Based Garlic Butter Spread and some Baguettes. As I was about to pay, I inquired if they honor PWD discounts. To my surprise and joy, the cashier took the initiative to contact someone (likely the owner) to confirm. I was thrilled to learn that they do! Their customer service went above and beyond, and I truly appreciated their effort to accommodate my request.

Bread Funatics was recommended by my colleague, Carissa, who is a big fan of their products. She wasn’t wrong! The garlic butter spread was absolutely good, and I used their fresh baguettes withCarissa’s own Bruschetta recipe. It turned out amazing!
