Summary:
There are only a few places that deserve five stars. Kumedor is one of those places. The aesthetic is relaxing and easy on the eyes, a perfect treat for a hot lunch or a delicious dinner. The restaurant's specialities such as Bacolod-style inasal is a true palate pleaser, served with a cup of Java Rice. There also was a desert that I ate which was a fluffy bread mixed with a sweet sauce and I am not exaggerating when that desert was pure sin. It was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of it. This is the best place to bring friends or even family as Kumedor has an event hall to celebrate special moments. It is a place truly worth visiting both as a local and as a traveller. Para sa mga locals, Kumedor is a taste of home. For travellers looking to experience what Filipino cuisine can offer, Kumedor is the place to start that journey.
Aesthetic:
As mentioned, the design of the restaurant is friendly to the eyes. When I entered the restaurant, the vibes was pleasing and the staff were impeccably dressed and friendly. Very eager to be of service and to attend to your needs. Despite being a big guy, I had no problems sitting down. The bathroom was also incredibly clean and had a pleasant smell.
Service: Again, the staff are dressed to impress. While other establishments are satisfied with plain colours clothes, they have well-groomed uniforms designed to look like traditional Filipino clothes. As for the actual service, they are very eager to give it and are friendly. The kitchen-to-table speed is also fast at least when I came there. Like all restaurants, the speed will suffer slightly if it is busy but the wait will be worth it.
Food: If I could go back again, I would. Their signature Bacolod-style chicken is a real palate satisfier. The chicken is big and savoury and it is served with Java rice, a fried rice that just makes you full. I highly recommend ordering that if you want to make sure that your money is worth and you are truly satisfied. Kumedor however has a team that are masters in the craft of making you hungry again because as said, they have a desert that was a type of bread with sauce. I was full when I got it but when I ate that dessert, it was worth going home full.
Five stars, full send. I would love to come back again. Bring friends, family, or the special people in your life because Kumedor is a place worth making...

Read moreI appreciate the restaurant’s aesthetic ambience. The service was good too, we only waited about 15 minutes for our food, which wasn't long at all. HOWEVER, I was somewhat disappointed with the food’s quality. It was rather mediocre, nothing special. Btw we ordered: Chicken Inasal: Really bland, and no aroma. Pork Belly: 80% fat, bland, and oily. Sinigang na Baboy: This one was a letdown. You could tell right away they used a ton of sinigang powder, way too sour. And the meat was mostly fat! P380 is not worth the serving size. Ginabot- was really good. It was tender, not chewy, and just the right amount of crispy. No weird smell, though it was a slightly oily. And I loved the green, sour-sweet dipping sauce. The calamansi Juice: I could tell the calamansi juice was freshly squeezed, which I really liked. And I appreciate that they let you pour your own sugar syrup, so you can make it just how...
