Steakhouse HANGOUT MACTAN — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

BY FAR MY WORST EXPERIENCE AS A FOREIGNER SINCE BEING IN CEBU. THEY Advertise being an AMERICAN THEME RESTAURANT, " COME TO FIND OUT" JAPANESE OWNED FROM WHAT WAITRESS SAID, WE GO IN AND ORDER 2 MEALS, 1DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER MEAL AND 1 DOUBLE CHICKEN SANDWISH MEAL.. OK... SO WE WAIT ONE HOUR TO GET THE MEALS AS THE COOKS ARE BACK THERE DANCING, WHEN THEY DELIVERED THEM. BOTH SANDWICHES HAD ""ONE"" PATTY ON EACH. I ASKED THE WAITRESS "WHAT IS THIS" I ASKED TO SEE THE MENU AGAIN WHERE SHE LIES AND SAYS, THERES ONLY 1 PATTY ON EACH SANDWICHE SIR """"AS CLEARLY""" THE MENU SHOWS 2... I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND HE STATES, OH IM SO SORRY SIR, I WILL FIX IT.. I THEN ASKED HIM IF THIS IS HOW THEY DO ALL FOREIGNERS. HE LAUGHS IN MY FACE.. ME AND MY WIFE GOT UP AND WALKED OUT THE RESTAURANT AND DIDNT EVEN EAT THERE. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM... I SEE WHY AT 7PM ON A MON NIGHT, WE WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMERS IN THE ENTIRE PLACE... TOTAL RIP OFFS... NEED TO FIRE THE MANAGER AND COOKS FOR TRYING TO RIP CUSTOMERS OFF.. PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS.. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS...

Ordered a soup starter, then a steak with fries to follow. Waited about 20 minutes then a portion of fries were delivered to my table. I told the waitress that I'd like my starter first and the fries with my steak. She apologised and said she understood. My soup then came and was good. However 30 seconds later my steak came 😂. Again I instructed the waitress that I would like to finish my starter before they bring my main course. I also told her that I didn't want the same steak coming back out. I finished the soup and then out came the same steak, I could see it was the same one but I was going to let it go, I just wanted to eat and get out. I assumed they would have put it back on the grill. The steak was stone cold! At which point I cancelled the order. How can a restaurant and it's staff not understand the order of...

We were yesterday in that extraordinary good steakhaus. As starters we had a really marvelous broccoli cream soup and tataki, asa well very delicious. We ordert as main dishes sirloin 200g and hangout steak 200g. It was served with crisby frenchfrise and carrots with long green beens. On the Point Medium rare, like we ordert! We asked for a red wine and we were adwised to try the house wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, produced in Australia. As a German I can say, this is certainly one of the best wine of this region what I ever drank! Next time we’ll order a bottle, which cost 1000 php, very reasonable price. In addition we had luck, that a couple, guitar and voices made acoustic live music, oldies international included Japanese songs. A wonderful evening, thank you to that super kindly staff and delicious...
