We traveled all the way from Tarlac to try this restaurant because we were craving a seafood experience. We are a family of 18, including 2 seniors and 2 kids. We waited in line for 28 minutes due to the heavy crowd. However, the front-of-house staff did not inform us that the food preparation would take an additional 45 minutes. Since we were already seated, we had no choice but to wait.
The food tasted okay, but the portions were very disappointing. We ordered the family pack priced at 6,999 pesos plus 3 extra servings of rice. Unfortunately, the portions were very small — one seafood mix had only half a crab, and the other mix had just 5 shrimp and mussels, many of which were empty shells. This was a big red flag.
The communication with customers was poor, and the staff, including the supervisor or manager, showed no consideration. Even after paying the bill, we didn’t receive a proper apology. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I will not be coming back or recommending this place to my family and friends. I advise future customers to check the portion sizes carefully before ordering.
Thank you, this is an...
Read moreWe ate there for lunch and got there in perfect timing, right before a surge of people came-on a Sunday. Parking was relatively easy and we were seated immediately.
The place is not bad, we got seated at the mezzanine level. When I saw that a hand-washing station was available there, I felt at ease that I didn't have to go up and down these stairs, as I expected to be eating with my hands.
They wrapped the table with plastic before we ate and gave us paper cups, plastic spoons, and paper plates (they plates were upon request though). So we expected to go all in with eating seafood.
When the food came, our expectations were met. We ordered the 1,999 bundle, which came with a platter of seafood, a serving of wings, rice, iced tea and leche flan.
The seafood tasted fresh and had a good flavor to it. Instead of the typical Cajun, we ordered garlic butter. The serving portion was alright, considering the price.
They served very good white rice, which we enhanced with the garlic butter from the seafood.
The leche flan was on point-firm but creamy.
Overall, the experience was good. I would dine here again and even...
Read moreCrabs and Crack Clark offers a fantastic dining experience, especially if you enjoy a hands-only dining approach. The seafood was generally delicious, and we appreciated the lively atmosphere and the friendly staff who made our visit enjoyable.
However, we were dining with someone who has a disability (PWD), and while the hands-only experience is unique and fun, it would be great if the process of providing plates and utensils could be improved and made more efficient. It took a bit longer than expected to get what we needed.
Additionally, while most of the seafood was fresh and tasty, the scallops and mussels could use some improvement. They appeared to be either store-bought preserved or not as meticulously cleaned as the other dishes, which slightly affected the overall quality.
Overall, it's a wonderful place to enjoy seafood, and we hope to see some improvements to make it even more accessible and ensure the highest quality for all dishes.
Feel free to make any further adjustments to better suit...
