Grill Seoul Korean BBQ — Restaurant in Mabalacat

Our group of 9 visited this Korean BBQ restaurant after seeing positive reviews on TikTok, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. While the premium meats may be good, the service certainly doesn’t match that level. When we asked for recommendations, the staff responded with little enthusiasm, simply stating that "they're all the same," which felt impersonal and unhelpful.

We had kids and seniors in our group, and when we asked for water, we were given just two pitchers. It took multiple follow-ups to get more, and basic items like tissues weren’t readily available at the table either. We had to repeatedly ask for these things, which felt frustrating. We also ordered six additional cups of rice, but by the time we finished, only three had been served.

Even more frustrating was the lack of attention from the staff. One of the cooks was right beside us, yet despite hearing our requests, didn’t make an effort to either assist or call on her colleagues for help. I understand that cooking is her main job, but it wouldn’t have hurt to make sure we were taken care of. Overall, while the food may be decent, the service needs significant...

We used to go to this place frequently and they had okay service but ever since they went viral on social media, their service has gotten 10x worse. The first incident happened about 7 months ago, when they accused us of cutting the waiting line. They suddenly said that there was a waiting and that we couldn't just go inside. But actually, we had been waiting for about 10 minutes and decided to leave as we felt extremely disrespected by their manager. The second incident just happened today, (mind you, we haven't gone back to this place ever since the first incident occured), we had been waiting for about 15 minutes and when it was already our turn, the waiter gave our table to someone else and used the excuse that they thought we were part of their group. They didn't even bother to ask that group to move out of the table, instead, they asked us to wait for 10 more minutes. This just proves that fame got to their heads. They suddenly became so rude to their customers and they don't show the service they had before...

Went here yesterday April 25, Friday night with my family (group of 10). I was expecting a service at least at par with most Manila’s expensive and high-rated korean restaurants. Unfortunately when we arrived, it was never close to that service or the taste. We ordered Set C (x2) worth P2,600 each. They told us that banchan is only refillable twice!!! They should be able to give us unlimited banchan with what we ordered. Their banchan are boring, not appetizing either. Their attendants looks tired, irritable, uninformed, and not paying attention to all the customers. Shocking because most of the korean restaurants have the best customer service, but not this one. Their barbecue is so-so (Samgyupsalamat is better tasting tbh). Not worth going back to, feels like we’ve wasted out money...
