Didi's Pizza — Restaurant in Mabalacat

Good omen: The house was nearly full.

Bad omen: I was pointed to a table. When I was about to take a seat, I was told the table was actually reserved. (No signs that said it was reserved). Got vague directions that there should be a open table at the other side of the room, so I set off in search of this elusive table. When I got there, they still haven't cleaned up the table. It looked like half the food ended up on the table instead of in the mouths of the last customers. When they finally got around to cleaning it up, the server who took my order was acting like she had given up on life.

Undeterred, I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, a combination pizza, and the chili with cheese and onions.

The waiting time was about par for a nearly full house.

The food:

The cheeseburger was bland and dry and the buns had the consistency of bread that was still frozen about a minute ago and got heated in the microwave. The fries were served cold like they'd been placed in front of the air conditioning unit at full blast.

The combination pizza was unimaginative. A smattering of ground mystery meat, a few pieces of sliced button mushrooms, some diced bell peppers, not enough pizza sauce, and a sprinkling of quickmelt cheese. The crust was undercooked, it tasted of flour. Took a few bites and couldn't stomach the rest.

And the chili? It looked like my dog decided to vomit into the bowl. Taste: Barely bearable. Positive side: It was hot when served.

The check took more than 15 minutes to arrive, I had to have it followed-up by another server.

I recently visited this restaurant filled with excitement and anticipation, only to have my expectations shattered by an overwhelmingly careless staff. It is with great disappointment that I share my unpleasant experience and caution others who are considering dining at this establishment.

From the moment I walked through the door, it was evident that the staff lacked the basic understanding of hospitality and attentiveness. It felt as if I was an inconvenience to them, rather than a paying customer deserving of their respect and attention. The absence of professionalism and care was glaringly apparent throughout my entire dining experience.

To begin with, the hostess seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged my presence. She neglected to provide any sort of warm welcome, leaving me feeling unwelcome and unimportant. Unfortunately, this indifferent attitude continued as I was seated at my table.The servers, or should I say, the ghosts of servers, were virtually nonexistent. It was a challenge to grab their attention for even the simplest requests. I found myself waiting endlessly for refills on my drinks and necessary condiments. Each time I made an attempt to get their attention, they seemed preoccupied with their personal conversations, completely oblivious to the needs of...

I love pizza. And if you're in Angeles, Pampanga, Didi's Pizza is the best place to go for pizza. They are famous for their crunchy, tasty square pizza and tacos. I recommend the Combination pizza and Pizza burger. The food they serve is freshly made and it takes some time to be served. It's best if you have a casual conversation with people while waiting for the order (it usually takes 20-45 minutes), but it's really worth the wait. To save time, you can call them early for a pickup or let them know when you're coming in. Parking lot can be a pain because it's situated with other food establishments (not much parking space).
