The place is good, ambience is okay, definitely good for get togethers with family and friends with wine and cocktails. However, our orders were not taken with ease, there was a lot of back and forth in terms of what would be choice of starch for our orders and there were no expectations for the serving time but we saw that the other tables were first served even though we arrived first. Although the restaurant staffs were hospitable and friendly, they forgot one of our orders, and when we got the delayed or maybe forgotten order which is chicken parmesan, it was a little burnt. With the food, best part is actually the sangria and salad but for the others oh my very much disappointed, quality of food, taste, and even the presentation does not equate with the price. Read moreThe overall experience at Mario’s Restaurant was just okay. We ordered oysters, baby back ribs, pasta, salmon, chicken, onion soup, and paella. The oysters were fresh and delicious, the pasta and salmon were also good, and the baby back ribs were okay. On the downside, the chicken was dry, the paella was too salty, and the onion soup was just so-so.
What stood out, though, was the service — really good and attentive, which made the dining experience much better despite the food inconsistencies.
