I really enjoyed my experience at cafe mesa. I'd not eaten there since before the pandemic, however when my son and I walked in we were greeted by familiar faces who recognized us and made us feel welcome.

As usual the food had home prepare food vibes. Great quality and good value for money. I ordered beef quesadillas, carbonara pasta, pork steak and there chicken special for the day.

Within less than 2 minutes of ordering we were served free bowls of there soup of the day, a mushroom and seaweed broth that had a really nice umami flavour with plenty of healthy veggies.

The food didn't take long to arrive. The carbonara was creamy, not traditional Italian style but very nice comfort food none the less. The beef quesadillas was packed with heaps of stretchy cheese.

The pork steak was the star of the show. A light marinade with a hint of sweetness to the meat which suits the Filipino pallet but also not too sweet so enjoyable for us foreigners as well. The pork was tender on the inside but had a really good bbq crust on the outside making it super flavorful.

The chicken special was nice as well. Chicken with sun-dried tomato and some nice herbs with a small side of mash. All together...

If I could give ZERO star, I would. This cafe is the WORST cafe so far. Staffs are not attentive and were VERY NOISY. Upon serving of the food, you'll already lose your appetite, it doesn't look good at all. But of course since we'll be paying for it, we gave it a try, but you'll still end up not wanting to it eat. Doesn't taste good. Their pasta is the worst, but so their beef and MANGO Shake. Yeah, it's just a shake yet they can't serve it properly. Their cake doesn't taste good as well. It taste like an old stock which was about to expire, yet they still serve it to us. Value for money?? I could say that it's a waste of money for the service and kind of food that they offer. Wonder if their kitchen and ingredients were clean and fresh for we end up vomiting right after going to that place.

It was really the worst experience ever. So...

place has a cozy feel with the ambiance of the building of a club john hay old barn homes from bagiuo. it has been retro-fitted and decored to serve as a functioning restaurant with outdoor tables and chairs for an al-fresco alternative experience. Indoors has a full functioning AC system to bring the heat down. Drinks is slight pricy but worth it to try. Both their fruits shakes and coffee based drinks are legit. Near the parade grounds where people can have events, do your jogging, cycling etc so this is a good place to do your rest and eat after your workout. Does not have an exclusive parking lot but has a public parking just across the street. So it's not a hassle. Only problem are the mosquitos at the outdoor dining area so may sure to ask the staff for assistance for table candles. Accepts Cash, Debit/Cards as mode...

i have never been so angry with a dining experience as i have here in Cafe Mesa in Clark. I cant say for lunch and dinner, but the breakfast is so off putting, i dont think id go back to try again. Shoutout to the table behind us who was complaining the same thing. Breakfast costs 370 per plate which could have been redeeming if their food was good and if the menu was 70 percent not preserved. The cornbeef tastes like purefoods straight out of the can, the omelette-- flat, dry, without anything inside .. and for a 400 peso food you would expect that plating could have been AT LEAST CONSIDERED, but no, they just cook it and bara bara lang. The sandwhich just 2 pcs, cut pa in half- with a disappointing inside, even the american breakfast is so lacking. Maybe try lunch or dinner... But please, breakfast... avoid at all costs.
