I really enjoyed my experience at cafe mesa. I'd not eaten there since before the pandemic, however when my son and I walked in we were greeted by familiar faces who recognized us and made us feel welcome.
As usual the food had home prepare food vibes. Great quality and good value for money. I ordered beef quesadillas, carbonara pasta, pork steak and there chicken special for the day.
Within less than 2 minutes of ordering we were served free bowls of there soup of the day, a mushroom and seaweed broth that had a really nice umami flavour with plenty of healthy veggies.
The food didn't take long to arrive. The carbonara was creamy, not traditional Italian style but very nice comfort food none the less. The beef quesadillas was packed with heaps of stretchy cheese.

Upon serving of the food, you'll already lose your appetite, it doesn't look good at all. But of course since we'll be paying for it, we gave it a try, but you'll still end up not wanting to it eat. Doesn't taste good. Their pasta is the worst, but so their beef and MANGO Shake. Yeah, it's just a shake yet they can't serve it properly. Their cake doesn't taste good as well. It taste like an old stock which was about to expire, yet they still serve it to us. Value for money?? I could say that it's a waste of money for the service and kind of food that they offer. Wonder if their kitchen and ingredients were clean and fresh for we end up vomiting right after going to that place.
It was really the worst experience ever. So...
