Starbucks One Rockwell — Restaurant in Makati

AMBIENCE It felt nice to be slightly away from the mall; it made me feel their branch was more peaceful. More seats were available on the second floor, but during our evening visit, it was still pretty full. We were fortunate to get seats downstairs after awhile.

BEVERAGE Wishing Star Dark Mocha Frappuccino was good but I didn't really get my money's worth. It's basically a pretty and well-decorated Dark Mocha Frappucino. The green tea whipped cream and the cereal stars seemed to contribute more to presentation rather than flavor. For this season, I think I'm all set with Toffeenut and Peppermint Mocha. Bringing back the Gingerbread would put stars in my eyes!

This is the second time that this happened to me in this branch: I went to this Starbucks at around 8PM and was working on something until their closing time. In other branches, they would usually ask you for your last orders and inform you that they're about to close in about 10-15 minutes. In this branch, one particularly loud male barista kept passive-aggressively shouting that "sarado na kami" and "may customer pa sa loob" to no one in particular and flicking the switches on and off. There were probably just three or four of us inside. This Starbucks has a great and quiet location, far away from Maddening crowds, it is remote and about half a kilometre from the nearest public utility. This Starbucks is the best plaice to gather your thoughts or even design a house. You have a view of 8 Rockwell and Bel-Air village so this place can give you some inspiration.
