The Havitat Boutique Hotel is located in some narrow side streets and is a new hotel. The staff are friendly and the security did an exceptional job as the security guard even came out to the cab with an umbrella as I pulled up when it was raining, so I didn't get wet getting out of the cab. Excellent service from the security.||||The rooms are fairly small and they have hey small fridge freezer, a desk and chair, a live pot plant in the corner, tea and coffee making facilities and they provide some bottled water and slippers but there is no safe in the room.||||Unfortunately the bed is a double bed and it is quite hard and uncomfortable and they only provide 2 pillows.||||There is a large smart LCD TV with NO channels, however it does have Netflix and is linked to the internet so you can watch YouTube and a number of other apps.||||The bathroom is very small and there is poor lighting over the bathroom sink and there is no soap provided for the bathroom sink! The workmanship at the hotel is poor quality and the wash basin faucet is loose and flops all over the place.||||The shower has very poor water pressure so you don't even feel like you had a shower when you get out and the water leaks out onto the bathroom floor.||||The lighting in the room was rather odd the way it was set up. There are no switches to turn off the lights over the bed and over the TV near the bed, theyr're up near the front door which is inconvenient and a poor deisgn error. There were no spare power points by the bed or desk so you had to unplug the light so you could plug in a charger for your phone.||||The housekeeping is terrible, substandard and unacceptable and they did not make up my room once throughout my entire stay ||||Overall the rooms are fairly poorly designed with a lack of thought in their design process.||||It's ok for a couple of nights stay but I would not recommend the hotel as there are better hotels at a cheaper price and that have much facilities and far better bathroom and showers.||||The elevator was not working throughout my entire stay which meant you have to drag your bags up 6 flights of stairs.||||This might be a new hotel but the beds are uncomfortable, the Wi-Fi is slow and poor quality, and the housekeeping is woeful, it just fails in so many areas.||||There is no double glazing on the windows and you get woken up by the constant racket of roosters crowing and carrying on from 4:30 in the morning onwards. Then from early morning till evening there's the continuous racket of thousands of schoolchildren yelling cheering and carrying on from the school across the road so there is no peace & quiet in your room and it's hard to get more than a few hours sleep.||||The hotel is overpriced for what you get and I would not recommend this hotel. It's location is uninviting, its terrible wifi and poor housekeeping make this a very poor option. There are far better hotels for the same...

There is A NIGHTCLUB on the 2nd floor - get ready to be up until 2am listening to house music, that's the time I'm writing this. If this was listed clearly and nobly on their booking pages I would not hold it against them. A hotel with a popping bar is no problem; but don't just put "bar" in your hotel amenities and run a NIGHTCLUB under my room. Staff are friendly but not that sharp. Resisted my complaint about banging noises from a guest above me. They insisted it was the NIGHTCLUB on the 2nd floor! I had to convince them to speak to the guests above me. They finally did and cleared the problem. The rooms look great in photos, but lack the luster and luxury that the images show. With the discount rate I got, the rooms were worth it; but don't pay full price. Mysteriously, I constantly had mosquitos in my room; I was mystified as to where they were coming from since the window is sealed and I didn't leave the door open. It's in a neighborhood that bars most of its entry roads at night - meaning your car will have a very difficult time finding the right point of entry. The hotel would receive 1 star because of the nightclub, but it gets 1 more star because it's a decent structure and the staff, though not highly competent, were friendly. 1 star would be the worst stay, this is only approximating that. Time to...

Stayed here for 5 days and mostly had a wonderful stay. I loved the room I stayed in -- the bed was huge and comfy, the bedroom and bathroom were clean, the blackout curtains protected the room from the glare of the sun, and there was a kettle and a refrigerator (and a coffee machine for the coffee drinkers). I especially loved the Alexa in the room as well as the refillable bottles of water and the refillable soap and shampoo dispenser in the bathroom. The staff were nice and knowledgeable, and the on site cafe restaurant had good food and drinks. There is an elevator for those with mobility problems. The rest of Poblacion and Rockwell are very walkable.

What I did not like about the hotel was it got really noisy during the weekends -- the onsite cafe restaurant became a speakeasy and the music could be heard from my room. The soundproofing of the room itself was also not very good -- even the noise of revelers outside the window could be heard. I was already wearing earplugs at the time and I could still hear the music and the noise, but managed to get some sleep when the noise died down a little bit...

A poor quality Hotel with no soundproofing and very poorly designed for a relatively new hotel. The elevators were not working the entire time I was there the rooms are small and have rather gawdy decor and the beds are quite hard and not very comfortable at all. If you're a lot sleeper this is definitely not a hotel for you you get woken by the crowing chooks from 4:30 onwards in the morning and the Rowdy calling out and yelling from the school across the road and there is no double glazing on the windows or anything it is very noisy and very hard to get a reasonable sleep. The TV has a very poor selection of English speaking channels and quite simply there are far too many far better hotels around and I definitely would not stay at this hotel and definitely would not recommend this hotel

The fact that my room was a loft, with plenty of elbow room to walk around, was something that I really appreciated. The Wi-Fi connection was quick. The staff will go above and beyond to meet the needs of the guests. The hotel is a little far from any store; you'll have to fairly walk to the nearest Seven Eleven, which wasn't particularly enjoyable because it was heavily raining. Also, my room was on the third floor, and during the weekend, the nightclub on the second floor was extremely loud, with the girls screaming and shouting like there was no tomorrow. I would strongly advise adding soundproofing in the nightclub's walls as well as the rooms on the third floor.

I liked my stay :) The door was banged up and looked scratched, but other than that the room was nice although I was a little creeped out withe the tiger hahah. I didn't try the Alexa thing though so I'm not sure if it really works. I was outside most of the time and walked around Makati (Powerplant Mall, etc) and the surrounding neighborhood which was nice and quiet. It felt okay walking back at night since some cafes were still open until a bit late. The check-in was easy and staff was feidnly. The location was really strategic for the price and the things you can explore if you wish to spend some time in Makati. The restaurant had the best meat dish I tried in PH.
