Not a good experience in food, and would not be worth the full price. We ate here since they had a 50% discount promo with UB credit card. Good thing we had it at 50% discount or else I might have given a 1 without it considering the price point. The food looked good, but the taste was disappointing for me.

The best thing we tried was the Wagyu Beef Cheek as it was soft and tender. The flavor of the beef was also good. The sauce was too salty though, so we had to remove some sauce from the beef and left sauce on the plate.

The Buratta was just okay but it lacked flavor and it was missing the usual chewy texture that comes with a pouch of buratta. The texture of the buratta was a consistent thick paste that was not as smooth. The flavor of all the components was mild with the beetroot having the strongest flavor that is very earthy. I was disappointed with the dish and would recommend avoiding this and ordering this somewhere else.

The Steak Bavette (Flank Steak) was disappointing as well. They had a korean theme for the dish with gochujang and kimchi flavor to pair with the steak. The steak was cooked medium and was soft, but for me it lacked flavor that the sauces did not bring. The gochujang emulsion didn't have much taste as it tasted too light. The steak sauce was weird tasting and bitter. Then the leaf on top is like a kimchi and with some chili paste to bring spice. It didn't taste satisfying and I did not want to finish the dish at all. I just forced myself to eat it.

The Halibut with Manila Clams lacked flavor as a whole. There was no flavor present with the cauliflower puree having the strongest taste in the whole dish. The sauce that drenched the clams and fish, tasted so light that it didn't really bring anything to the dish. Whether the sauce was there or not, it might have almost tasted the same. I was very disappointed.

The Duck Prosciutto was almost inedible. If we did not have the buratta that was super mild in flavor, we might not have been able to finish this dish. It was too salty. Cured meat is salty, but this felt like too much. The toast was thin and it did not help lessen the saltiness. It felt like I could not taste anything except salt at times. I would avoid this appetizer and dish.

To conclude, at 50% maybe I'll try 1 dish to give it another chance. But at full price, I would just avoid...

The food was outstanding but dropping two stars for poor service and atmosphere. We came for the Valentine’s Day tasting menu, our reservation was at 8:30 and we were sat half an hour late at 9pm (this wasn’t just us, there were about 10 other tables waiting). Not one server said hi to us, or happy Valentine’s Day. The first course was dropped on our table before anyone spoke with us, so I wasn’t able to inform them of my allergies yet. Two courses came out before we had to ask for a drink menu and water. The music was so quiet and everything felt so awkward because all you could hear was clanging in the kitchen and everyone was whispering. The host checking us in asked us what our name was about 5 times, including after we were sat down. This is just not the service you expect for a fine dining restaurant where you’re paying 6k+ per person.

The food is really amazing but the service and lack of ambience made it feel like a fast food restaurant. Maybe next time if you’re making people wait half an hour outside offer water or even a glass of champagne as we’re here for a special day, so you don’t have 20+ people irritated that they’re being sat late and ruining the experience.

The food was so good, so was the portioning and presentation!! It helped justify the cost but I don’t think the front of house had the right training. I don’t recommend coming for a special tasting menu night, they’re not...

I want to recommend a fantastic, budget-friendly spot perfect for a date. Take your loved one to this Western fusion restaurant, which was listed by CNN as one of the Top 20 Restaurants in Asia in 2020 and the only one from the Philippines! The restaurant’s dim ambiance, paired with a spotlight on each dish, gives every plate a unique halo and a special kind of romance. The food truly is a work of art. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambiance: 4.6/5 | Food: 4.6/5 Price: - ₱1500-2000 per person (without steak) - ₱3000+ per person (with steak) The snacks are all delicious, and the daily bread selection is outstanding. They even have a dedicated bakery, The Test Kitchen Bakery. Drink Recommendation: - Wine cocktail: Refreshingly sweet and sour, perfect for those who love a daily drink. I prefer the red, but the white is worth trying too! Steak Tip: - Make sure to specify the fat content when ordering steak. It can be quite fatty, especially at medium-rare, so if you prefer leaner cuts, communicate that clearly. The steaks are large enough for two to share. The sides are also excellent. They offer takeout and vacuum-sealed, ready-to-cook meals so you can enjoy their steaks at home.

First off we contacted the restaurant by e-mail asking to place a reservation and if it’s possible to have a look in the menu, since you can‘t find any online. They just informed us that the reservation for two persons was placed but didn‘t confirm an exact time. So we replied and asked for the time of the reservation and for the !third time! for the menu, but we didn‘t receive a response. So we passed by the restaurant, neither knowing exactly what time our reservation was made nor knowing what the menu and prices were. Luckily our table was booked. To be honest, our expectations were a bit high, since the owner of the restaurant, chef josh boutwood, did work at noma. Well, we were mostly disappointed. I only remember the sour dough which was great and the meat to be overcooked. There were only a few guest, so you could notice that the staff (service, chef, everyone included) had nothing to do, so there was no working spirit to be felt at all, which made the ambience unpleasant. All in all the price-performance ratio was unfortunately bad.
