First time to try Nikkei Rockwell and I must say the place didn’t disappoint. Tried different variety of dishes and everything was scrumptious. We had aburi and tuna mango makis and even had a second order of Chirashi Premium because the sashimi is just that good! It’s like a deconstructive nigiri. Even the soysauce was a sashimi sauce and not just an ordinary soy sauce. Tried their new dish of Premium Steak of the Month, it’s good but expected it to be soft like wagyu, seems like it’s a bit over cooked but nonetheless it’s good and perfect for sharing. We had Sapporo draft beer served perfect for the sashimi and Carrilleras and Maguro Avocado well. And the last part we tried their desert. We had Tres Leches which is good and tried their home-made matcha and sesame ice cream. I generally don’t matcha but this one is exceptional coz it’s more creamy than bitter-y taste of matcha. Sesame tasted okay as well. Servers were prompt enough to serve dishes and asked everytime to refill our beers. And the best part is waiting time for food were fast. Food was served right away and they were eager to serve our extra requests. Much thanks to the trainees Mylene and Jaime (not sure) and everyone who served us in Nikkei Rockwell. We had a good food and good time. Will come back! It’s a must try!

We ordered Nikkei Black Cod with Honey Miso, Miso Kurobuta, Pollo Saltado, Salmon Sashimi and Salmon skin. Nikkei Black Cod with Honey Miso: My mom ordered this and I got jealous because I also wanted one lmao. It was sweet and savory at the same time. The fish is very tender too and they serve it with ginger. Pollo Saltado: My sister got this because it’s chicken and it was pretty good. You can never go wrong with this. Miso Kurobuta: this is my order. I wanted either beef or pork because our appetizers are all fish. It was good but it was a bit salty and oily. I wished they paired it with vegetables given the price. Salmon Sashimi: I think this restaurant has the best salmon sashimi I’ve ever tasted in the PH. We wanted to order another one but It was really pricey. Salmon Skin: I always buy this when eating here. It’s just so cheap and good for sharing. My sister prefers the sashimi though Overall, you can’t go wrong eating here. I haven’t gotten a single bad order from Nikkei. The only downside is that they are pricey.

Woke up late on a rainy Friday night with a craving for sushi but didn’t feel like fighting the traffic with a short amount of time before the restaurant closed. Ordered delivery from Nikkei at PowePlant / Rockwell. Had Ebi and Maguro Nigiri. Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Roll and a small fried rice mostly to try something non-sushi. Food arrived fast and everything was packaged very well. All of the fish tasted fresh and the rolls were better than I expected! The fried rice was good but I suspect that it would even better in the restaurant when it was hot rather than warm. I can’t complain though since I chose delivery. My favorite was the Spicy Tuna Roll! I would definitely say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything traveled and at the freshness of all the ingredients. 8/10 and would definitely recommend especially for in restaurant dining!

Best sushi I've had in a while. We took the miso salmon roll, panko (roll), strawberry drink and three berries drink (picture). (We got free water and some sweet potato chips) The miso salmon roll had the biggest piece of salmon in it that I have ever had in a sushi roll. The panko (fried roll) had an amazing extra seaweed dressing with it that made the sushi even more delicious. I highly recommend the panko/panko sauce. The only downside that I found was that the drinks had a lot of ice in them so when I removed those there was about half of the glass left with my drink. I didn't ask without ice so that's also my own fault. Service was great, even though they waited at a very small distance until you made an order. (Very different in Europe) This was the 1st or 2nd time we got asked about our allergies, therefore I would give them even more stars ⭐

Was a bit hesitant to dine here at first due to the recent negative reviews as we were looking for a good place to bring my senior parents for the new year. But they did not disappoint! We initially called and booked al fresco, but it rained so we requested indoor seats and they arranged a table for us by the open kitchen. Our female server seemed a bit distracted though and our bill took a while to be processed so we had to leave without our receipt. The ambiance was nice for dinner and my dad enjoyed happy hour (2-6pm) because they had a varied selection of cocktails and beers included. Their menu is extensive Peruvian-Japanese cuisine so there are lots to choose from. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes.

Was invited by friends for a gathering and Nikkei did not disappoint! Was my first time in any Nikkei but heard that their menu differs between various outlets. Atmosphere was chill and lighting was just bright enough to each your food, allowing you to have conversations without worrying about making ugly faces. Selection of food was quite wide, Japanese Peruvian fusion is a first for me so I was quite pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to accept a combination like this. My favourite was the Wasabi Ice Cream, which everyone gladly gave up to me. Drinks were good, staff did their best to accomodate despite being full-house that evening. Thank you Nikkei Rockwell!
