Making a review after a sub-par dinner at Grace park with the family. This was the last meal of our 15 day trip to the Philippines and unfortunately the worst.
Food: the food was average at best. We ordered 3 starters, two pastas and three mains and these are the observations. First, the chorizo fritters was tasty, simple, and well seasoned. However, this was the peak of the quality of the meal. We ordered the Kinilaw, this was well seasoned and tasty but unfortunately the fish was slightly macerated and we could tell it wasn’t totally fresh. Having lived in Peru for 4 years and tried many ceviche and even amazing kinilaw in the Philippines at places like CEV this was just okay. Second, the lechon tacos. The lechon was lukewarm warm and the tortillas were soggy and fatty. The tacos lacked balance and the fish roe that tired to elevate it was a miss for the 5 of us. I would recommend freshness and balance. Regarding the main dishes the pastas were okay nothing to say. The main issue came with the other plates. While the chicken was tasty and crunchy, the good seasoning was overpowered by the amount of grease and lack of freshness. Finally, we got the lechon Liang, this was one of the points that compelled me to write. After the food came (pictured) I did not eat as it was a glob of the same sauce of the prawns. There was no lechon unlike the name suggested only some fried grease chicarron and unfortunately this dish left the people that ate it feeling unwell.
Atmosphere and service: besides the food the i was compelled to review this because of the atmosphere not up to a restaurant that comes on OAB. Let me start by saying that the service had good intentions and was friendly but this is not enough. I will let the photos speak. The room was dirty. We sat and the dirty napkins were thrown next to us on an open basket. All dirty plates were stacked unwashed outside the kitchen. The waiters dried the clean plates with a cloth 1m behind us. The bathroom had no towels to dry the hands or an air drier and the toilet was broken. The ingredients were stacked on a shelf behind us and so were the plates meaning we had constant movement around the table and noise. Bear in mind this was a distance of 50cm max behind us. Finally in the main dining room all trash was stacked just behind the bathroom visible to all the guests. Unfortunately this is not up to the standard...
Read moreFor my partner’s birthday, we decided to celebrate at Grace Park in One Rockwell — and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The ambiance was cozy yet refined, with a farmhouse-meets-modern-bistro charm that set the tone for an elevated yet comforting dining experience.
We started with the Ensalada Filipina, a vibrant mix of local greens, salted egg, tomatoes, and native flavors — fresh, crisp, and a great palate awakener. From there, we dove into a variety of mains that showed off Grace Park’s strength: reimagining familiar Filipino dishes with elegance.
The Muscovado Beef Belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a rich sweetness balanced by earthy, savory notes. It was one of the table favorites. The Lechon Sisig offered a crunchy, indulgent bite with just the right amount of heat, while the Kadyos, Baboy, at Langka brought a comforting, slow-cooked depth that stayed true to its Visayan roots, but refined. The Cotechino, a garlicky Italian sausage dish, added an interesting, hearty touch to the spread — something you don’t usually find in most Manila menus.
For pasta, we were especially blown away by the Fettuccini Truffle Cream with Organic Egg — luxurious, silky, and just the right hint of truffle, with the egg adding a velvety richness. We also tried the Pappardelle al Telefono and Burrata, both of which were generous, creamy, and satisfying in a comforting, rustic way.
As a sweet surprise, the restaurant gave us a complimentary Salted Red Egg Brazo de Mercedes — a creative twist on a classic Filipino dessert that was both unique and delicious. The salted egg added a layer of depth that balanced beautifully with the soft meringue and custard.
Verdict: Grace Park is where local flavors meet refined techniques, perfect for special occasions or when you simply want food that tells a story. Every dish felt intentional — familiar yet elevated. We’re grateful for the experience and will...

our most expensive dish was a starter - Burrata w fresh figs n minced veal. PH1,700 but it was my fave. The chicken on the hotpan was full flavored wonderful. The lamb adobo and lechon were a let down but the accompanying brown rice turned out to be a delight. the squash flowers were a pleasant surprise and i would insist u order this too if u have never tried. I would have enjoyed the meatballs more had they been meatier, firmer and the mash was potato instead of the given polenta. The locally sourced umi with pasta was nothing to look at and everything on the tongue. yum! We over ate, as usual and could only stomach 1 dessert. the waiter chose the brazo over sponge cake for us. good choice! I wasn't a fan from the first bite but we were all glad we gotten to try this v interesting pastry. Their farm to table promise is very transparent, so much so that they list out their partners on the menu.
Overall the experience was memorable and to friends heading over manila for 1 weekend, we would definitely recommend this place for brunch or lunch. Good vibes from...
