We had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Wobbly Pan in Forbes Park! The ambiance was warm and inviting.
We started with the Paella Mechada, which was a flavor explosion with its tender meat and perfectly seasoned rice. The Salpicao was a true highlight, boasting succulent pieces of beef cooked to perfection, complemented by a rich, garlicky sauce.
The Pulpo A La Gallega, a dish of octopus, was tender and packed with Mediterranean flavors, while the Callos showcased a comforting, hearty stew that left us craving more.
The Calamares A La Romana was impeccably fried, offering a delightful contrast of crispy and tender textures. The Chorizo y Chistorra, with its smoky and spicy kick, was a flavorful addition to our meal.
I was not able to taste the salmon; however, my nephew said it was perfect.
Overall, the service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was just right for a special evening out. Wobbly Pan has truly earned its five-star rating, and I can't wait to return for another...

My husband really enjoyed the paella negra, noting that you could really taste the squid ink (I had to skip it due to a seafood allergy). Our kids, as expected, loved everything. The only letdown was the cochinillo, which was served before we were all ready, so it wasnât as crunchy as we had hoped.
For its Forbes Park location and price point, I would have appreciated fresh flowers and live plants instead of artificial ones to elevate the ambiance.
Still, the overall experience was lovely, made even more special by having the space exclusively...
Read moreA hidden gem on the 2nd floor of the San Antonio Plaza Arcade, Wobbly Pan has a great selection of tapas and paellas to satisfy your Spanish cuisine cravings. We got the paella mechada which had USDA beef tenderloin strips as toppings. My relatives from Canada really liked it since it was the right level of moistness - not too wet but not overcooked either, with a nice layer of socarrat at the bottom.
I just have to note that if you ordered the cochinillo, be prepared to get something closer to crispy pata than lechon. Still good, but definitely not the cochinillo we were expecting when...
