Hands down, it is a beautiful church. Very clean exterior, and well-lit interiors. Air conditioned, too. Unfortunately, I find it difficult to believe that it's run by Franciscan priests (at least, that's what it shows on the articles on their website). St. Francis of Assisi was born from a wealthy family and he divested himself of all that so that he can become a champion of the poor. Isn't this also the reason why the current pope chose the name Francis? So that he could show that it's not difficult to live a life of simplicity? And then you find out they charge exorbitant fees for weddings, with no REAL DATA/METRICS as to how these are being used, unlike the other parishes I've reviewed in the past. Santuario de San Antonio has like been there forever from my childhood years til now. The best families hold their weddings and their wakes there. It is a church that is rich with stories and history. And though it is the church that high society and old rich families go to, it is not an extravagantly decorated house is worship. It is simple yet beautifully designed.

I recently went there to attend a wake and while the kapilya had gorgeous art, the walls could afford a new paint-job. The old-looking walls make the room look tired and sad. Add a coffin and it's the gloomiest place in the neighborhood.

This is a church but the admin office staff is not so accommodating. They will not assist you even your in front of them you will wait for half hour and your the one who will tell them that hello I'm here for 3 times before they will ask what you need. For a second I ask if I am really inside a church. Their service for people also not satisfying you will wait again before of the slow process. We're only like 3 in the line but the it took an hour. But there is 2 front desk. If there is no star I'll go with...
