This is the most popular spot to eat on Malapascua and for food reason! Really good food and good prices. You can get a big feast for a good price.

A BBQ joint in the local market, and it's busy every night. Despite how busy it gets, the food comes quite quickly.

They have quite a few options to choose from. You can either order from the menu or choose from the display in front of you.

I recommend the tuna steak, had it multiple times. Shrimp was good. They'll have different grilled fish available and lobster.

The pork belly is really good too, ordered that every time.

The vegetable kebabs are good as well as the mushrooms. The corn is a bit different.. not like juicy sweet corn. It's got a different texture and tastes exactly like popcorn.

You can also ordered a sliced up mango to go with your meal.

The mango shakes were alright but not the best. The Calamansi juice was good but had tons of sugar on the bottom so ask without or very little sugar.

I tried the mango float dessert but it was not good here, try...

Very nice range of meats, fish and vegetables to be put on the bbq. We liked very much that the food we can choose to have bbqed is presented in glass covered platters, so you find no flies or likewise on it. The taste of everything we ordered was very good, also the non bbq food was really tasty. The only little negative critic would be the amount of poor, partly real mangy dogs sitting in front of the tables begging for a bite... This of course could be hardly changed within that open space restaurant on the...

We went here a couple of times for dinner on Malapascua. The food is affordable, fresh, and most dishes are good! We loved the sweet and sour fish, chicken adobo and vegetables in oyster sauce. You get rice with all these dishes. Would not recommend the asian chicken, the tuna burger (it was not a tuna burger, just some bits tuna like on a sandwich), or the bacon & egg burger (which was just bacon & egg and no patty which we did not expect). Staff...

his place is hands-down the best BBQ we had on the island! What made it even better was the friendly service — our server greeted us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. If you prefer lighter flavors, just let them know to go easy on the sauce. The grilled fish and squid were incredibly fresh — definitely recommend going for the local catch. A must-visit if you’re craving seafood BBQ done right. Just a friendly heads-up — the hygiene here is about what you’d expect from a typical Southeast Asian street-side spot. You might see a few dogs hanging around, hoping for a snack. And if it rains, be prepared for some muddy ground. Still, if you’re okay with a bit of local charm, it’s all part of the experience!

The best market stall in malapascua! Don’t go any other stalls in Mercado, there’s a reason the grill is always full and they are busy every time we went. Food is simply delicious and fresh, be patient with local people, it’s a small but functional grill. P.s no guarantee the karaoke next door is enjoyable music
