Very bad toilet, poor layout, water heater is worst than ever seen, it gives very hot water for few seconds then cold water then it repeats the cycle all by itself, there is no tap, but a bucket is there with a mug, the sower handle doesn't reach the bucket as well, so if you want to fill the bucket to maybe rinse your cloths, you have to stand there holding the shower handle for 5 to 10 minutes, who would like to do that on vacation,||||rude practices, ||1. ask your guest to sign on all kind of crappy rules and guest's liabilities first thing they check-in, we were tired with more than 10 hours of travel and still they are worried about getting there rules and regulations signed, ||2. absolutely poor choices for breakfast and it's very very limited, besides they don't even provide a fresh juice, they give extreamly bad tasting powder mix, and call it fruit juice, ||3. refused to provide mosquito repellent and tea bags, they just want you to use coffee ready mix and I am sure not many likes those, I ended up buying my own tea bags and milk powder, so that i can have my morning tea||4. all they inform and keep reminding you that how many ways they can charge you extra by first taking your sign on a paper (first thing when you reach the reception, oh! you are so tired, management doesn't care), the they put same rules in your room and in the restaurant for things like stained sheet, for loss of keys and what not, I don't know what type of guests they are used to and yes they will make you sign as undertaking for all that||5. breakfast timings are 8 to 10, it's a very bad practice, everywhere I have been to I have seen 7 to 11 timings and to add to the dislike they hand you a paper which mentions after 10 am they will charge 300 peso per person, in that amount one can find a meal at the white sand beach itself||||misleading resort images,||1. the photo with great blue water right in front is misleading, its a photo shopped to look like that, first you don't see much water as big part of view is hidden by the roof of the cottage in front, second, whatever little you see doesn't look like ocean, it looks like a lake, which has dirty looking black water, water isn't dirty, but its so shallow that you see all that seaweed and that isn't pretty at all, also, yeah one more thing, there are rocks and hillocks not very far from the property line and you see those much more from the balcony than the images they shown over the internet||2. over the phone they told me it's beach front, trust me it's not, that little insignificant portion of sand should not be called as beach, but one must know the business of hospitality does work on calling few feet of sand as beach, maybe in this part of the world||3. it's far away from main attraction of Boracay that is the white sand beaches, yeah they provide shuttle service every hour which I would say is only thing I really appretiated about this place||||my question to those who are reading this, why stay here?||when you can stay on the beach itself in about the same money, we ended up here, because of two reasons ||1. we were misinformed by some filipino colleagues in singapore, they said its very noisy in station 1 and 3, i didn't find much noise either of places, we even stayed our last night (the 31st night) in Boracay at Station 1 beachfront and we being not much of party animals could easily fall asleep at around 1 am, its a 7 kms long white sand beach, maybe few joints play loud music, you can ask the hotels before you book, but just stay there, they also said it is too crowded, maybe it is, but I could easily find quite places, I say it again is 7 kms long and mostly very crowded portion is just about 1 or 2 kms out those beautiful 7 kms||2. misleading resort images posted all over...
Read moreI am staying at one of the rooms on the hill near the water. (#7)||||The room is large, well lit, spacious, has a nice work desk plenty of storage and in response to some other reviews there is absolutely nothing wrong with the bathroom. Counter space for toiletries, the on demand water heater provides a constant flow of water at a constant level.||||The room WiFi is intermittent, at this time I am tethered to my phone. The 4G connection (Globe) is about 4 mb/s.||||The staff is wonderful and the authentic Korean food is a welcome change from offerings elsewhere.||||Responding to other comments, I had unlimited brewed coffee every morning and had no need for mosquito repellent.||||I don't recall being asked to sign a sheet with the rules, but I have stayed at other hotels in Boracay and the rules on Henna stained sheets were a surprise at first, but everybody has them. As for Kart_suls comment on the view, I see no evidence of photo shopping on any of their pictures, I will post a couple of mine.||||This is about as far from White Beach as one can get, but free shuttles run every hour and take 15 minutes. I enjoy being away from the mayhem of the beach. The views are as good as...
Read moreThis place I hesitate to call it a hotel is not near really anywhere in boracay and without the hotel shuttle the DMall which is near the White beach it would be completely isolated. There is a restaurant at the hotel and the staff are very obliging and friendly. However the room facilities are not great the beds were extremely uncomfortable and my wife and I did not have one good nights sleep. The chalet /hut you stay in has seen better days. The complex was started in 1991 and I would suggest that not a lot has been done since that date. There were frequent power cuts and I do not know whether that was to do with boracay in general or the resort in particular. It is in a state of slow general decline. There is access to the sea from the hotel but it is not near any beach or indeed anything.I could not recommend this place to anyone despite the staff being wonderful there were no phones on the rooms so when it poured with rain you had to walk up hill to the reception area if you wanted anything.Once again this place gets the thumbs...
