Mosaic Latin American Grill — Restaurant in Malay

This restaurant was recommended by other 5 stars on the island only , since we wanted something different than just eat daily in our hotel and honestly we were disappointed. The min we arrived to hotel it was different quality, obviously lower standards what we initially expected , we would say 3-4 stars seemed empty hotel. The restaurant did not impressed us with entrance and emptiness inside told us maybe it’s not the best quality steak house , but since we were there, we did not turned back. Prices were very expensive for quality , in fact in our 5 stars hotel next door it was cheaper and better quality. Desert was bad, onion soup triggered huge pain on my tooth 🦷 for some reason and triggered somehow infection with root canal ( and I still had trip of week to go, which was a disaster) Besides that their credit or debit card 💳 machine had trouble to process our 3 cards, unbelievable and non of them worked! Shortly day after on debit card showed fraud if 3 transactions over seas and we never used that card anywhere else in Phillipins and other destinations , since it was only fir an emergency use. So to be short they tried to use 3 charges on by using numver, we had to cancel card and suffer for a week without cash in countries after! So unfortunate! My tooth hurt for a week without cash! Card was cancelled and dinner was as expensive as in California, unbelievable. We paid cash and extra too. I should put one star for all pain in rare , but since they were trying I put one extra star. That onion soup may trigger me 5 k to fix tooth back home. It was full of oil and heavy, which was addressed . We liked the musician player and we even tipped him, that’s another plus .To be honest with you, I would not recommend to visit whole Philippines and Boracay at all, waste of money and different standards of what...

Dont get impressed with the pictures and always keep in mind 20 people commented with a 4.8 star rate doesnt make any sense. First of all ; we know it is hard to find a good strakhouse in Boracay / Philippenes but we wanted to eat Beef Meat not pork anymore. I can say we are with my husband are good cook and spend money / time to experience new good places. This restaurant price VS quality is very low. In our Boracay trip ; we visited the best places ; but this was totally disaster. The starters were far away low quality and no sense. Meat was cold served ; come on if you pay a Thomhawk over 8000 pesos; you have to serve it in the best way. Even for a bottle of Evian you can NOT charge 690 pesos. The luxuriest / high quality resort in the island is Shangri-la and its restaurants. What you feel yourself that how better service you are giving and you charge a water %40 higher price then Shangri-la. Also you can not serve a 9000 pesos Tomahawk , almost cold. Come on …....

Very low profile restaurant and hotel for a over priced service. Prices are here %40 expensive then Shangri-la Restaurants (which is a real 5 star service group of hotels). I really dont understand why they charge a bottle of water 690 pesos ( which you pay the same 450 pesos Shangri-la Resort Sirenna Restaurant.) Food is zero taste and to be honest for such restaurant , it should be better as of starters. They have only very small terrace; you only sit inside.

For this zero quality ; how you can expect people 2500 pesos / per person usage limit. Sorry but change your chef or people will not come and eat in the near future. Check your prices with you same level...
