If i could give this NO stars I would. The service is sooo slow and inefficient. It took 40 minutes for just the drinks to come out (tapas came out before the diet soda and beer). There were insects (flies, fruit flies) going into the food and when we complained the operations manager nonchalantly said they are aware there is an insect problem (next time perhaps, try apologizing and replacing the food promptly instead?). One of their aircons is leaking so they do not use it and have a tray under it just in case it will leak. The food quality and taste are poor and food is overpriced for the quality. The ice cream that came with the churros was melted maybe they intended that to be cream or their ice cream maker is broken. When we pointed this out they replaced it with another serving that was in a similiarly melted state. The waiters and waitresses and the operations manager are not customer oriented or polite. Just a tip, when a customer complains a genuine apology would go a long way. Acting like all the mishaps are expected as you are aware of them makes a complaining customer even more irate (really, there is nothing you can do about it but hey at least you are aware of it). To be fair: the manager opted not to charge us. But for the record: I felt our family celebration was ruined, we were not after a free meal and I would not eat here again even if you paid me. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU CAN HELP IT. Read good reviews for other branches, maybe it is just this chef or this branch or...
Read moreLast night's dining experience at Las Flores was met with some anticipation, though we did have to wait a bit as the restaurant was fully booked. Once seated, we proceeded to place our orders, but unfortunately, the lamb shank was unavailable, so we opted for the beef tenderloin as an alternative.
While waiting for our food, we had to request bread, which was brought to the table without the accompanying dipping sauce. Another reminder was necessary to receive it. Eventually, our orders arrived, consisting of fried squid, mini wagyu burgers, beef tenderloin, and baked salmon.
Regrettably, none of the dishes truly stood out, leaving us with mixed feelings about the overall experience. However, there was one exception—their amaretto sour, which was a delightful surprise and definitely worth mentioning.
Despite visiting on a weeknight and taking advantage of the 50% discount from BDO, the meal did not live up to our expectations in terms of value for money. We were left feeling slightly disappointed... May not consider returning to Las Flores...
Read more5 stars if not for the service. The tapas are the main draw if you ask me as they offer something different from the typical idea of a sit down dinner with just an appetizer and an entree. That doesn't mean that the mains disappoint. I especially liked the paella con setas and it's different take on paella - a dish most filipinos will have a strong opinion on. I do agree with the other reviews that the service leaves much to be desired. I appreciate that they are knowledgeable and seem well trained in that sense but my several visits have had me encounter a staff that is inattentive. This I can also understand, especially given the volume of customers, but they border on unresponsive to your needs. An acknowledged need that is unmet seems worse that a staff that is simply swamped. A little more hospitality to go with the training and knowledge would surely push this to a 5...
