Lovely room and view but extremely terrible customer service from rude front desk staff.
We checked in overnight in a 2BR suite. The room was spacious and view was lovely. Pool and jacuzzi were okay. The guy staffing the pool was pleasant and helpful, too. The staff from the restaurant were polite and equally helpful.
However, the customer service from the reception is appaling. We checked out on 27 February, 12noon. The Receptionist on duty was rude. Four of us checked in but room only had stuff for 2 people, i.e. slippers, mugs, bathrobe, etc. We had to call and ask for extra stuff for almost everything but we didnt mind.
Upon checkout the receptionist (the lady on the right side of the desk) said a teaspoon was missing as well as an adaptor for a lamp - both items which she condescendingly implied that we stole. We didn't even know that both items were supposed to be there. We get that they needed to check for completeness of items in the room before guests leave but she could've asked in a more tactful manner. Add to this the judgmental looks and the raised eyebrows that we got while she accused us, most likely because we weren't wearing Guccis or Pradas.
The receptionist at the wellness center was rude as well. My sister and I went to the 9th floor on 26 Feb to check out the pool. We were wearing shirts and walking shorts and upon entering the wellness center, the older lady at the desk asked us if we were going swimming, again with raised eyebrows (raised eyebrows and judging looks seem to be a common practice with receptionists here) while looking at us from head to foot. We said we're just looking around so she grudgingly gave us directions to the pool.
To the receptionists whom we encountered, be polite and more tactful when dealing with guests, and don't judge and treat them based on what they are wearing. The smiling lady guard manning the entrance has more customer service skills than you people.
Lastly, maybe it is good practice for your staff to conduct a proper inventory of items in the room prior to guests checking in and make sure that what needs to be there are there. This will also help you avoid accusing guests of stealing when you don't find things as minute as teaspoons when they check out. Otherwise, you can opt to go through guests luggages before they leave just to make sure they didn't steal anything.
But you people wouldn't go that...

If you are a shopper, this has great access to 5 huge malls: Shangrila, Estancia, SM Mega Mall, Podium and Robinson's. 2. The receptionist and security personnel are very friendly. 3. The apartelle (we had a 2 bedroom apartment with large living room, dining and kitchen) was very spacious. 4. There is parking at the basement if you have a car. However, you need to be a really good driver - the space is really tight. However, our experience outweighed the benefits:1. Cleanliness: When we arrived, all the heavy drapes were closed. We opened them to get sunlight and ended up disturbing a ton on dust and black hands (no kidding). It seemed like the drapes have not been washed or dusted in years. Further, the sofa was all stained and likewise, smelly. The entire apartment, in fact, did not smell fresh (never mind old furniture but you can still make it clean).2. The air conditioners work but were also dusty and very noisy.3. We had 2 bathrooms (thank God, we had 2!). One toilet clogged and won't flush. The bathroom had very old, stained tiles with dirty edges on the bath tub. When we turned the shower in one bathroom, the handle of the faucet flew (with the water pressure) and almost hit us in the head! It was really very difficult to use these bathrooms.4. In the 4 nights that we were there, it seemed like there wasn't a cleaning service that came.5. The parking was terribly polluted. The guard at the basement parking was inhaling all these exhaust and we really felt so bad for him. (The exhaust fan was right where he had his stand/desk). We felt that this was very bad working conditions.6. And very important to us - the internet does not work. We were away most of the time and our phones were on roaming but if not, it could've driven us crazy. There is no way, I could work from this hotel. I am sad to give this review. We have known the Linden Suites as a very nice apartelle many years ago where some colleagues were staying in the medium to even long term. Unfortunately, it has gone way down. Perhaps time...
Read moreI just need to write a review after what happened. I've always been into staycation from 5 star hotels to midrange hotels so I know how to give a proper review - for context.(Shangri-la, Ascott, etc.)
HONESTY- 100% I've said that I just needed to write a review and this is why. I have a 10+ grams of gold bracelet that I never knew I left inside the room. Upon check out, like less than 5 minutes, the hotel receptionist handed me thet gold bracelet that I left. I mean, its just so easy for them to keep it if they want since I've already checked out but yeah, they did what was right. Thank you!
PARKING - Their parking is super steep. SUV cars would have a bit of a challenge.
ROOM - Super spacious. Super clean. I've checked reviews here that their aircon was dirty and seems like the place is old and etc, but I can say is NO. I cheked in at 17th floor and its good. Properly maintained. Aircons vents are clean. Bathtub, a bit dirty but overall, it's SUPER GOOD.
VIEW - They have a nice view of the city. +1
AMENITIES - What we tried is pool. They have a heated pool and it is by appointment. Its a plus that they really limit the number of users so guests can enjoy the pool. My 4 year old son enjoyed this as they also have a 2ft pool.
WIFI - Their wifi is fast but only limited to 2 device at the same time. But no need to worry as they have a 5G connectivity when you are in data mode.
PEACE - It was Saturday when we checked in and there's a bunch of other guests to celebrate especially birthdays, and other gatherings - large group mostly. But so far, I didn't heard any noise when we were inside the room.
PROXIMITY - We didn't avail the breakfast but we ordered Grabfood instead. There's plenty of resto to choose from nearby and my son enjoyed his breakfast as there is also a good dining space inside the room even a kitchen if you wanted to cook.
I can go on and on with the positive reviews but it made it even more of a meaningful stay when I knew that the management is good for keeping up a good housekeeping with values. To whoever conducted the checkin today Sept 25 inside 1701, I can't thank you enough.
For sure we...
