Ordered lunch while doing self laundry nearby. There is 1 parking slot in front of store. Inside, it looks like a local medium sized cafe, with around 8 tables and can accommodate atleast 20 pax when full. It is nicely airconditioned, has that simple and homey style feel, but lacks the elegance for a restuarant that serves their pricerange. I mentioned price range because I was kind of suprised on how their food is priced. Rice meals and pastas varies 250 up to 390 ala carte. They have pizzas yay but priced 320-ish to 500Php. Drinks varies from 95 to 200php based on type, from juices to coffee. I ordered a rice bowl of spicy chicken omurice. Surprised as with the wide diversity of their menu, there are tons of food choices you can get. The omurice is 295Php and yet doesn't come with sides or drinks. I asked for water but they told me they do not serve service water (only to find out that they have a water station on the side with the condiments. I'm not sure if i was played by the counter aa it made me get a drink, cucumber lemonade 16oz at 95php. At 390Php I know my meal is expensive for a medium local cafe, as I get these bills for a meal usually at mall located restaurants with better and upscale interiors. Going for the food, took around 15mins to serve my omurice with lemonade. Portions are sufficient to make you full. The omurice tastes fantastic. I just assumed somehow that i was the one who will cut the egg when served, but I was served with the egg spread out topping the rice already. Not a deal breaker though. Nevertheless, i was full after taking the meall all up. I just think the price needs to be justified more. At 295php rice bowl, I mostly see food comes along with a...
Read moreI was staying across the street while on vacation and stumbled upon this little gem — and I’m so glad I did. The food is really tasty, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, with a vibe that reminded me of a New York City restaurant — the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem only locals know about.
The menu selection is excellent, with plenty of choices, and everything I tried was delicious. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel welcome right away.
If you’re looking for a cozy cafe with great food, good prices, and a laid-back atmosphere, Board & Trays Cafe is definitely...
Read morePizza was above average with quality ingredients but with meat overload, no pepperoni, mostly just beef and bacon. Crust was good. Could use more cheese and sauce. Price was 385 for a small pizza but big enough for one hungry man. I see pizza hut as a much better value with quality ingredients for half the price. This place calls itself a coffee shop but its actually a restaurant. Nice ambience and its worth giving a 2nd try on a hot day if im...
