Note: They also sell Ilo-Ilo's La Paz Batchoy and some other noodle dish like the palabok.
Here's the verdict. We ordered palabok, Special La Paz Batchoy, Sisigsilog, Cornbeefsilog and also Caramel Machiato (they also sell Makoy's 38 pesos coffee)
First - the palabok wasn't palatable. The shirmp stock seems to be overcooked wherein the shirmp (close to bagoong) is overpowering the taste of the entire dish. even the "chicharon" toppings when mix with the palabok sauce can't be tasted at all.
As for the La Paz Batchoy, it's good enough as it is, though compared to the Batchoy's we've tried in Ilo-Ilo, it's miles apart.
Their silogs are great. the Garlic rice is really garlic rice as advertised, though the egg (for me) needs some improvement. it wasn't "malasado" but closed to beeing well-done. The serving size of their "viands" like the sisig and conred beef is a bit small, though the taste is great.
Service and ambiance is great. Hopefully the next time we visit the food...

The ambiance and the convenience of dining in the wee hours of the night is what you pay for and the food & service are just the bonus. Will come back but with my...
