This was a popular restaurant back in the generation before me and it survived until now which says something.

They serve comfort food, Filipino, Chinese, Spanish style so their menu has dishes from all these cuisines. Their food was better than I expected because the place looked old and half dead. We went because of the good reviews and it was already 2 pm and we were starving.

We had the crab omelet served with a Gawgaw-like brown sauce that may probably be better without, but the crab was pretty good, hefty chunks and flavourful. We also had the fried rice, noodles, camarón rebosado, lumpiang Shanghai and fried chicken. Everything was good. Tasty, good portions. A little pricey for the look of the establishment though.

Food taste is 5* and so was the service.

Nothing to complain about on these 2 categories. We did Take Out after to bring home food for the family and they were also quite happy with the quality.

The only point for improvement is the cleanliness or lack of. Once you walk in, I highly recommend NOT to look around. Stick to looking at the menu or your phone or chat with your companions but don’t look around. Or better yet, do take away. Bring the good food home. The restaurants around it had cleaner and more hygienic environment, it will take only a little effort to make this place hygienic. Hope they do it so more people will come and...

When you look this place up you are expecting a Spanish, Chinese, and filipino fusion. This place has roots and heritage with their mixed dishes. We tried the pork lumpia, special fried rice, and torta congrejo. Everything was delicious and unique. I would say the sauce in the torta congrejo was a little over powering the crab because of how much was applied. Overall the kind woman and son taking care of us were very accommodating. I hope a place like this stays open. Me and my friend traveled far to try this place and I would say she made it worth it. We had the whole restaurant to our selves and enjoyed each other’s company. My only critique would be to try better with sanitation. But on the flip slide these places have...

A restaurant in its death throes! Such a sad end to a restaurant existing for over a century and a half - in the privy margins of momentous events in Philippine history. The place is dingy, grime is everywhere and the menu is way overpriced. The waiters looked like urchins lifted of the streets... and dressed as such. The only redeeming value was the half-apologetic, polite, cashier who seemed to be trying to captain a sinking ship. Happily the management changed the establishment's name. At least there is no need to explain to dissapointed tourists who seek out this once well-known spot. The food? Nourishing would most generously...

Old School Resto. My Dad In-law brought me here 15 years ago, it was still called Sun-Wah and located right across the street. There used to be a pet Baboy Ramo outside the establishment but the owner said it died a long time ago since it was already old. Their menu now consists of items from Sun-Wah/Wah-Sun (Chinese) and Ambos Mundos (Spanish/Filipino). We ordered Torta Congrejo, Ampalaya Beef, Asado, and Fried Rice. Very Nostalgic place. Good food!
