Jollibee Rizal Park — Restaurant in Manila

Went there for breakfast as the pancakes 🥞 were recommended by a local. Breakfast is supposed to be until 10 am, at 9:25 am I ordered pancakes. I was told that they were no longer serving pancakes. I asked whether breakfast was still available, they said yes, but Longanisa was out of stock. I asked if pancakes were out of stock, they said no, they were unavailable because they were preparing the kitchen for the non-breakfast menu. I ordered spaghetti, the sauce was flavourful, but the spaghetti was mushy, rather than al dente. Their coffee float was satisfactory. The peach-mango pie was nice but a little small. Upon opening the door to the CR I gagged at the overwhelming smell, it was well overdue for cleaning. The best thing that I can say about the dining atmosphere is that the air-conditioning was working well.

Afterwards I walked to the MacDonald's that was in sight. At 9:55 am, I ordered and received pancakes. It seems like the bee 🐝 could learn some lessons from the clown 🤡 about customer service and...

My experience is a bit of a mixed bag. The architecture is something I haven't seen before. It's not the typical Jollibee found in malls as it has a distinct architecture, which really compliments Rizal Park. The service is unbelievably sluggish... I legit have to wait a good while to get the food. There's also the menu that lacks backlighting, they seriously need to replace those to illuminate the menu better. The atmosphere is okay-ish... It's very loud inside, from the music playing to people chatting, it's unbearable for someone wanting some peace and quiet. All in all, it's good if you just want the food plus it's in Rizal Park, you could always take out and eat it while you're in the park instead. You get the best of both worlds, good food and a good place to relax.

Frustrating lines, inefficient service :( I don’t know why this specific branch takes so long to take and deliver an order. There was a party when we took our orders so I guess the bulk of the staffs were stationed to assist there? But that is not a good compromise too

I took a video because I started to notice that the lines were not moving. It was taken 19:31, we were already lined up at around 19:20

We got our orders at 19:58. Approximately 40 minutes of waiting time. No tissues were given

I don’t want to blame the staff because I know they are also just victims of a poorly made system as well. I commend them for trying, it’s not their fault.

But something has to change definitely. I hope...
