This was the first restaurant where I have gotten up and left. My friend and I ordered two set meals that included soup/salad, a main course, and dessert. My salad was fine, but my friend’s garlic soup came late and tasted as if it was raw garlic blanched in broth. My soup, the “creamy” seafood tomato soup, was over boiled to the point of the cream separating from the tomato soup. When my friend’s entree, arrived I stopped him before taking his first bite because while the chicken was seared, it was substantially raw inside. The server asked if we wanted the chicken “well done.” This question is ridiculous. Chicken is generally served cooked not raw. There are a few dishes in global cuisine that call for raw chicken. This dish was not one of them. This was not a question of “well done” or not. We returned the dish, and instead of remaking the dish, it came back as if they had burnt the same chicken on the grill, leaving it dry. After some time had passed, the server came and asked me if I wanted to substitute pork for my original beef order because they ran out of beef. I consented. When my main course arrived, they also substituted my mashed potato for French fries—something I didn’t consent to. To add to the mess, the pork substitute wasn’t the other option for the set menu I had ordered (“pork medallions”) Instead, they gave me a sauce covered set of pork ribs. This would have been fine until I cut into it only to discover it was cold. Serving sloppily reheated food was the last straw. It was after this...

Very disappointed with the service & staff. The desserts were too sweet. Servings of dishes were quite small. Very slow service. But the most unacceptable & disgusting part was the very rude security guard assigned on 8th March 2019. We ate there & went out, but then decided that we need to go to the loo/toilet, then after that we went out again to finally leave the place. On my way out, the very rude security guard started screaming saying that we were wasting & using their water supply & we are not customers and he went on & on screaming the same lines. Good thing I took photos & showed the guard that we just ate there and we even bought some takeaway desserts. But then the damage has been done and he didn't even apologise. I was shocked that the staff or owner didn't do anything to stop the guard from this horrible behaviour. I suggest that the owner of this restaurant should send this guard for "code of conduct training." Based on the code "He shall not use his license & other privileges if any, to the prejudice of the public, the client or the customer & his agency." As a paying customer I will definitely "not recommend" this horrible restaurant. Worst...

The service seriously can use some improvements here. When I first stepped into the restaurant, no one greeted me and led me to the table. The staff have no idea about their own menus and what cakes are available at the moment. Nobody poured water from a strange-looking bottle for me, and I wasn't even given a spoon. When I asked for it, one female staffer looked a bit annoyed, or maybe that was just how she normally looks, but I don't like the attitude here. It was 10 am on Sunday, and the dining room was not even busy. You should train your staff to have a more service-minded mindset. One of the customers had her hand up in the air for awhile, but nobody paid attention that she had to walk towards one of the staff. I asked for a slice of cake two times, but they came to me with a bill I hadn't asked for instead. They quickly cleaned my table, even the napkin I hadn't used, like they couldn't wait for me to leave already when I was there for 20 minutes. The food and its price go hand in hand, but I would not come back here again. The pistachio raspberry cake was good, by the way; it wasn't too...

"A place for dining and relaxation after a day's toil." True to it's slogan, this little gem in Intramuros is a great place to satisfy your hunger and to rest after walking around the walled city. It's located right across San Agustin Church. Food is delicious and affordable. Service was a bit slow, but probably, it's because of the influx of people on a Sunday lunch. The food makes up for this, so it's still worth a visit. And I'd say it's worth a second or third or more visits considering the variety of food they offer (which interestingly are named after cardinals, bishops, and some famous figures in the Catholic church). Menu looks cute (like those pamphlets from churches), but could be overwhelming with the selection, so we asked the serving lady for suggestions. The best part is that the restaurant is owned by the CBCP (Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines), so earnings fund their projects and programs for the church and its mission. It's like hitting two birds with one stone. We get to eat good food and provide help to the church in fulfilling her mission.

At first glance, the restaurant looks inviting, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The staff is neither helpful nor friendly, which is enough to sour the experience on its own. The interior design is rather gloomy and creates a depressing atmosphere, further emphasized by the indifferent attitude of the staff. Together, these elements fail to provide a comfortable or pleasant dining environment. The food quality was equally disappointing. The tapas platter consisted of trappista and edam cheese, breaded frozen onion rings, dried olives, and a few slices of cold cuts—far from what one would expect from a proper tapas experience. The gambas was an alternative choice, but it turned out to be a lukewarm mix of shrimp and mushrooms. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. It was a disappointment on all fronts, so if you're looking for quality food and good service, I suggest looking elsewhere.
