Had a bad experience and thought it was just because it was a Saturday and they might be swamped, but upon reading the comments, this seems like a common occurrence.

Waiting time took more than an hour for walk-ins. So you should have a reservation if you don't want to wait like we did. It was also scorching hot at their outdoor area, if I didn't ask them to turn on the fan, no one would have bothered to do so.

The service was slow AF, too. Maraming servers but ang tagal talaga. They are fast when clearing out dishes and cleaning the tables but that's it. The dishes and the drinks were served at a slow pace. Ang bagal and ang tagal!

The food was subpar. And a third of the menu was not available!! As in super daming unavailable! So we were stuck ordering what they had, which were: Spaghetti that was TOO SWEET, like candied sweet. And may isang maliit na hotdog??? Kimchi grilled cheese which was OKAY. No brainer dish, so sana naman. Croissant was stale. Pan au chocolat was OKAY. The chocolate was too runny that it was a mess to eat. But, okay taste. Their coffees were not available too! Mocha lang meron, and it was good naman. Buti naman may isang, masarap! Spanish latte HOT, was served cold. And when we had it changed, wala na raw. Last spanish latte na nila yun. Probably out of condensed milk. IDK! And from 9PM, they close the restaurant to focus on their bar.

For a bar - their drink selections are, meh. Super konting selections of cocktails, 7 selections only. Tapos 4 lang available. Also, liquors are expensive pero I guess they are selling naman based on the number of people sa outdoor seating. They're paying for the "skyline". But also, daming umalis and hindi tumuloy mag-order upon seeing the menu. Mojito was good, though. Like a 3.5/5✨

If you're going for just the atmosphere - sure! Dahil sabi ng mga sinungaling na reviewer sa Tiktok - if you want, go ahead and try it.

Really bad service. Sabog yung mga waiters. I'm writing this review for the restobar to reflect on our experience and for future customers who may experience the same thing.

Went here on my birthday. Our first waiter was a guy, binigyan namin siya ng list ng order namin and he told us if we're okay with 30-40 minutes waiting time for meals na may rice, so we communicated na kung merong mga pwedeng i-serve na, unahin nalang yun. We thought this was clear to him but we found out later on, through another waiter na our rice meals order wasn't punched and we waited for around half an hour without knowing. Nalaman lang din naman kasi we asked to be moved in an indoor area sa Roof Mnl and when a different waiter asked us if our orders were complete and that's the only time we confirmed na we were waiting for nothing. Another instance, we were disturbed by 3 separate payments ng orders namin because of their mistake—hindi nila napunch ng sabay yung last order namin. The initial waiter who served us gave the worst service amongst the two who went to us kasi hindi niya maclarify lahat ng kailangan niya iinform samin, hence a lot of miscommunication.

ROOF MANILA, please train your crew better on proper customer service. For a bill of 2,000+ our Mojito cocktail was BLAND, food quality was not hot already because of long waiting time, overpriced yung Nachos, and even the Calamares was bland.Their only great asset is the space, the rest is not...

We went here for a bridal shower but their service is the worst. We wanted to surprise our friend but there were a lot of things we cannot do. No decors, no staying on the couch. (We wanted to hide by the couch area but they said it’s not open for public use.) We understand there are rules and we obliged. Then we proceeded with ordering our food What’s weird is that they asked for money saying that the place is “pay as you order” like really?? Diring ordinary days we wait for all orders to be served before we get our bill. Lastly, it is the attitude of the servers that’s very disappointing. There weren’t a lot of people but serving food takes at least an hour. Even just asking for water or calling a waiter takes time. Never coming back here....
