Vanitea Cafe Sampaloc — Restaurant in Manila

me and my boyfriend tried out Vanitea once and it was a bit disappointing. the staff were inattentive, and the food and drinks (quesadilla and strawberry milk) tasted bland. the only commendable aspects were the food's affordability and the atmosphere.

i thought it wasn't fair to judge a place based on one visit, so i gave it another shot with my friends. unfortunately, my observation of their inattentive staff remained the same. 🥲 the only difference was their spanish latte, which tasted decent and became my go-to order during each visit. i also noticed that the place needs some improvements with its ventilation downstairs because both my friends and i felt a stinging sensation in our eyes, similar to what happens when exposed to smoke. i believe the kitchen area lacks proper ventilation, so i suggest going upstairs instead if you plan on staying.

overall, despite of all my attempts to give it a chance because i highly value affordability, Vanitea didn't meet my personal expectations but i believe the place isn't inherently bad, it just needs some...

For the food we ordered, we had a beef quesadilla and strawberry milk, both of which were mid at best. The quesadilla lacked flavor and looked sad and the milk tasted artificial and bland for its price.

Unfortunately, the staff was not accommodating during our visit as they seemed disinterested and were slow to respond to our needs. (they were not providing us the menu and asking us when we can order / some are just even playing mobile games or talking to each other)

The vibe and atmosphere was nothing special as there was even a lack of space and seats available, but it was quiet which makes it fair and good to socialize with friends(in my case, my girl)

Overall, our experience was mid at its best due to the lackluster food that we expected more from it, unaccommodating staff, and minimal space. Maybe we will try to return soon and see if there is any...
