Just a short walk from the University of Santo Tomas, Kantina Manila offers a modern, minimalist space perfect for casual meals between classes or after long study sessions.
Their extensive menu features crowd favorites like burgers, all-day breakfast plates, pizzas, and a variety of pork, beef, and fish dishes. They also serve Mexican-inspired options like burritos, quesadillas, and pasta dishes.
Highlights include the Buttered Bagnet Sisig Bowl, topped with a sunny-side egg, crispy pork crackling, green chilies, and onions — a flavorful and satisfying dish.
The Chicken Quesadilla comes with a thin, crispy wrap filled with chicken and cheese. While tasty, it could use a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavors.
The Beef Caldereta offers a comforting beef stew, though the meat portions are on the smaller side and the quality could be improved.
The ice lemon tea was good- not too sweet!
Ordering is simple: place your order at the counter, and they’ll bring your food straight to your table.

First, the place is alright, air-conditioned, has a lot of tables and seats.
Second, service is so bad, as if they weren’t trained to treat customers properly. Staffs won’t even greet you, or smile at you. Please, badtrip na ‘yung tao, mababadtrip pa lalo sa kasungitan ng tao sa counter. A smile or greeting would really help the business.
Third, the food, I recommend going here in the morning while the food is newly cooked. I noticed during dinner here, they only microwave the food. The meat of the sinigang was hard, I told them about it but they only put it at the microwave again.
When someone asks, please answer them nicely, I understand that sometimes there are hard days, but please, not all people will understand that.
Please take my complains into consideration, take them...
Read moreJust your typically kainan. The menu is written in their wall, but there's a smaller one near the cashier.
Food: not that great, the cook is different from the usual such as our order, liempo, instead of the savory taste and grilled umami, it's just too sweet and tasted burnt. The drinks gosh don't get me started, the lemonade is super bland tasted more like a heavily dilluted coffee with weeks old lemond peels.
Place: there's a leaking ac beside the table which was a big no. The other ac, i didnt even know if its working since the place was hot af, mind you we went here around 5:00pm so the sun was about to set.
Service: meh its ok staff weren't rude.
Anyways this place is just like its name, a simple, "kantina". Prices are cheap and when you're hungry then its an ok choice if you're...
