I was wondering what the hype was all about with the new Gino’s branch that opened in Molito (took my family 3 different attempts on 3 different days to finally get a seat), but unfortunately the place didn’t live up to it. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza is good—just not as good as what most people make it out to be. Order the SMEGG pizza if you’re going to give the place a try. Everything else on the menu? Pretty underwhelming, especially the pasta which came in very small servings relative to its price. It’s definitely not good for sharing, but if you’re going to try it, the bolognese was tasty! And apart from the super cramped seating space, everything else was alright!

Gino's has made a name for itself for its flavorful takes on Italian food. However, this newly-opened branch needs to step up its game. We arrived to find the small place full, and we asked the receptionist if could order ahead so we could eat as soon as a table opened up. The staff declined as they wanted the food served hot. When we finally got a table, the pizza temperature was tepid. The rest of our orders though were as good as we remembered from another branch. Altogether, a good alternative once the FOH and BOH become more streamlined.

Their space is so small! No second floor unlike other restaurants here. My bf and I were seated in a small table next to the kitchen and restroom. We tried their bestsellers: prosciutto pizza and mushroom parmigiano pasta. Pizza was good esp with spicy honey, but I still prefer the Italian pizzas at Firehouse. Pasta was okay but the serving is too small for the price. Overall the food is good, but not worth the prices and not something we'd revisit.

DISAPPOINTED. Don’t waste your money here. Craving authentic Italian pizza? Look elsewhere. This place is nowhere near it. I’ve had way better—Mama Lou’s absolutely puts them to shame.

The Four Cheese Pizza was a joke. Barely any cheese, drowning in tomato sauce, and served cold. The pasta? Not al dente at all—just hard. Staff blamed the aircon (seriously?) even though it was served warm. Clearly just poorly cooked.

And here’s the kicker—I tried to give them a chance to fix it. Politely told her that pasta was a bit hard, and the staff just walked away. Didn’t say a word. What kind of service is that? Terrible.

Not worth the price, not worth the hype. Overrated, underwhelming, and honestly just...
