I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding an experience we encountered at your restaurant on January 25, 2025. We made a specific request when placing our order, which, regrettably, was not accommodated. While we understand that restaurants adhere to certain policies, this particular request was critical for dietary reasons. Despite communicating this to both your server and the restaurant supervisor, the dish we ordered was not prepared as requested, adversely affecting our overall dining experience. I also proposed making payment in advance to facilitate the preparation of the dishes.
We have consistently appreciated the quality of your food and the ambiance, as this establishment is one of our preferred dining venues in Westgate. However, the experience on that day was disappointing.
I believe that feedback is a crucial component of growth, and I hope that by sharing this with you, it can serve as an opportunity to enhance service for future guests. I am confident in your team's ability to address such issues and uphold the high standards for which your restaurant is renowned.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our feedback. We look forward to observing any...
Read moreThis is my first time to dine in this Filipino-Spanish style restaurant and I am impressed with the food and ambiance. We treated our visiting Japanese consultants here for a dinner for a taste of Filipino cuisine. They have a good impression of the place. They particularly like the binago-ongang rice and sweet rice with sweetened coconut/macapuno and mango. Staff were quick and keen to our needs, courteous and friendly. The place is neat and clean too. This restaurant is child friendly as well since I saw high chairs but I am not sure of the menu if child friendly too. They have outdoor chairs and tables for guest who wished to eat outside the restaurant. The atmosphere of the place is very colonial. Paintings and artworks depicting the Spanish era are seen in the design of the windows, floors, walls and lighting fixtures. And of course in the food they serve. Prices are reasonable and affordable given the impeccable taste of traditional Filipino food with some twist and mix of modern influence. I would say I would come here and recommend this place to friends and family who like to experience the local tradition and best of...
Read moreI am honestly dissapointed on how the food was presented to us and the overall taste as well. The kare kare is good thou but their famous tinapa rice is a bit too salty. I especially ordered fresh lumpia for my mom cause it was her favorite but the fillings inside are just too cold like fresh from the ref. We had to request to reheat it. Second the lumpiang shanghai which is my favorite filipino dish is too bland and i cant even taste the meat inside. If they are promoting filipino dish, food should be atleast the best standard taste, even the beef bistek tagalog is salty when it is supposedly a bit sour right? It tasted like a plain beef poured with soy sauce. Lastly, the leche flan with the macapuno is just a terrible combination, the leche flan itself lacks sweetness and tastes something that mixed with gelatin. Not the best or not even average good leche flan. We will never come back to this restaurant anymore. I hope you will improve the quality of taste of your menu since a lot of foreigners are dining at...
