We visited this restaurant for the first time and were thrilled to find that almost everything we ordered was delicious and satisfying.
The baked BBQ pork bun was soft and had a warm and yummy filling. The tofu with pork floss had a crispy exterior and a soft inside, almost like taho. The fried tofu stood out with its texture. The beancurd skin roll with pork and shrimp was soft and tasty, while the pork dumpling with shrimp had a balanced texture and was full of flavor.
The chow mein was delicious, but keep in mind that one order is suitable for one person, just like their other dishes. The steamed spinach dumpling with shrimp was soft and tasty, especially when dipped in soy sauce. We also tried the beef ball with beancurd skin, which was soft and juicy but didn't have anything extraordinary about it.
Since most of our orders were meat, we decided to add some vegetables and ordered poached fresh greens with oyster sauce, which turned out to be delicious, just like the other dishes.
We still had some room left, so we ordered the wasabi salad prawn dumpling and salted egg shrimp. The salad prawn dumpling had a crispy outside and a juicy, flavorful inside. However, the salted egg shrimp was a bit too salty for our liking.
In addition to the delectable food, we were pleased to discover that the restaurant was clean and boasted an inviting interior. The ambiance created a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing our overall dining experience.
Moreover, the staff members were incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our needs were met. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added an extra touch of hospitality, making us feel valued as guests.
Overall, we had a nice dining experience at this restaurant. The servings were small, but it allowed us to try a variety of their dishes. It's worth mentioning that most of the food we ordered was tasty even without...
Read moreI went there for my old favourites that most Chinese restaurants here in Manila don't have, the vermicelli roll with minced beef and the glutinous rice in lotus leaf. The former got the passing grade but the latter was very disappointing. The rice was half cooked and dry with very scarce ingredients. It should be renamed as Stingy Rice. Next time It can be substituted by ordering the Chicken rice with Chinese sausage and mushrooms which has a similar taste and ingredients but costs 60 pesos less. Sounds logical, right ? If you check their menu in Goggle then you would be misguided by their old prices. New prices of many items have already increased by 10 to 20%. Michelin star restaurants are mostly created by advertising technique so as to market their menu at much...
Read moreSuper! We are lucky enough to enjoy our first time here with their very yummy dry noodles, dumplings, chicken and mushroom rice, and of course their baked buns. Almost every table had it. I guess the tables I didn't find any buns, they're just still waiting for it hehe. I guess the usual waiting time for the buns is 20 minutes and the staff will tell you that so I think follow ups before that time is over will be of no use. Buns are served hot and freshly baked. Next time we'll double our order for the buns. Beef dry noodles is also great when drizzled with their chili sauce. So comforting. We got to visit on a Saturday, waited just for a bit to be seated and service is ok. Perfect if my request of service water came without asking for the...
