We went to this place because it looked new to us and when we checked the reviews, it looked like something we would enjoy.
I ordered philly cheesesteak because it was their bestseller and it was my favorite although it was too expensive for what it is. It's not even close to the American taste. The meat was DRY and NO FLAVOR AT ALL like no seasoning to it, to think that it's price is too much. The sandwich was supposed to be cheesy, atleast, but my sandwich didn't have enough cheese. The hummus didn't taste like the REAL hummus. My husband ordered a quesadilla, and his food was the same as mine, some cheese was missing like their trying to save from using too much cheese to think that their food prices are just too much. The salsa didn't even taste like salsa and didn't look like one LOL (it looked like hummus😅), and with lack of seasoning my husband didn't bother eating the salsa with the quesadilla. The only best thing from our dinner was the fresh mango shake. If you know what american/Mexican food is like, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE as they don't taste like real American/Mexican food. Sure, the serving was American serving, but my husband and I have been to several places and whenever we eat quesadilla or Philly, it's no way close to what we had last night from this place. I would have given them a 0 rating if I could.

Read moreHad an event there for a surprise 72nd Birthday Party for my loving Mamu. The staffs are very friendly and nice. Very accomodating... however the management should invest on additional utensils and kitchenwares... from 60pax the guests bloated to 90++ so we oredered additional food for 30pax. Eventually they ran out of tumbler glasses. The food served were on round serving plates instead of chaffing dishes that consumed a lot of spaces and didnt kept the food warm, they didn't have food warming lights as well. No one was also attending at the buffet table to keep it clean from food spill. Since the event was planned for a short time, didn't had a chance to do food tasting, however a good head staff incharge for entertaining the account should have good menu suggestions, and must have a good skill.in food pairing. The menu had too many pork dishes as a matter of fact 2 bagnet dishes and a lechon and there were 3 spicy dishes as well. In toto, the venue and the food is very promising, with just a few fine tuning since they are practically new, only operating for the past 3 months and still on the learning ropes for hosting big events... the staffs are outstanding and it would be nice to visit the place again, check out what got bettrr and enjoy the smiles of...
Read moreEl Filo serves the BEST MEXICAN food in the whole Central Luzon area. The Chef/owner knows authentic Mexican flair. The corn tortillas are super crispy & does not stiffen even after a couple of hours, & compliments the chile based salsa nicely. Don't forget to order their Nachos to-go to enjoy with your favorite show. The owner lived in Southern California bringing with him real Mexican flavors such as El Filo's pork carnitas, which was nice and moist filling the crunchy taco shell till it nearly explodes. Don't forget to try El Filo's black refried beans with tons of cheese & jalapeño peppers. El Filo's food presentation is visually appealing it made my mouth water just looking at it. The serving & flavors are more than satisfying & well worth the price. I will definitely come back & try their Filipino dishes & burgers. The servers were fast, accurate & personable....
