Large filipino restaurant by the beach in SBMA. Popular with locals. It has a high roof but it is open on its sides with no air-conditioning and just 2 large fans. We came at night and the heat was almost unbearable, so I believe if you come around noon or afternoon time the situation would be a lot worse. There was sitting outside by the beach too, but as no fans were available we decided to sit inside. Prices are high. Expect to pay with drinks at least 700-1000 per person. Service was quick, good, and the staff was polite. We wanted to eat "Crispy Patas" which according to the menu was available in 3 sizes : regular, medium and "family". For some undisclosed reason the medium size was not available (what prevented them for serving that ???). We were told the family size was good for 5-6 people. We also ordered some fried squid and beers. The beers came in their bottles and we were expected to drink from the bottle so we had to specifically ask for glasses. I hope they don't do the same if you order wine. The Crispy Patas came in a MEDIUM sized plate and certainly was not OK for 5-6 people. As half of its weight was bones it was OK for 2 western adults or maybe 3 kids. The meat was well cooked and tasty. The grilled squid came cold and it was almost tasteless. Toilets both male and female were dirty, with no toilet papers and and lot of stagnant water on the floor. CONCLUSION : Expensive local restaurant with a very hot environment. The various local dishes are a hit or miss I guess....

The baby squid was bitter and burnt when it was served. We ordered pork kare-kare, but they gave us beef kare-kare instead. The rice was too soggy. The serving time was slow, and it took a long time to settle the bill as well.
The worst part of all was that we were ahead on the waiting list (knowing that there were no customers seated at the tables intended for waiting customers) and had already placed our orders, but a family with three senior citizens and another two foreigners arrived. The foreigners were prioritized for seats and a table first, followed by the family with seniors (which is understandable because they are senior citizens), but it is unacceptable to prioritize the foreigners who just arrived. There was no reservation. One crew insisted that we were first that arrived, but this one crew named "Cha," who is about 5 feet tall and has dental braces, prioritized the foreigners. What's the deal? Is there discrimination against your fellow Filipinos in your own country? Shame on you.
The place is pet friendly.
All in all, we spent more than 2 hours in this resto...
Read moreCame here for the second time this afternoon around 2:30 to 3:00 PM with my family.
Service was crap here, food was cold. Had to call the staff 3 times for our Octopus since it came out after we finished our meal 😂 I mean how hard is it to grill an octopus?
Had to ask for a table of water 3 times since being seated and the guy who gave us one glass of water at the end after we complained and finished our entire meal was so incompetent and did not even care. Complained to the manager named Diane about it all we’ve got was an apology like how come our table did not get any table water despite the fact that we asked for it 3 times after being seated and the other table got theirs without even asking.
Also staffs are more inclined to eat their meals while guest were waving their hands for waiters for help it’s like the staffs are the paying customers and the customers are the workers having to work their hands and eyes looking for staffs to serve them and yet they charged you service fee. I mean if you’re paying around 4,000 PHP to 7,000 PHP you expect a good quality of food and service. Unfortunately this restaurant does not...
